YCM becoming Harsher?

Have you noticed that YCM has become harsher over the past year? I am mainly talking about things like all the art critisism. I am no good at banners and tried one out, i was expecting to get loads of flaming replies, because my faith in YCM has began to decrease. I have also noticed many arguments, over stupid things. Grammar and spelling is also majorly critisized aswell, I honestly can't believe how harsh the forum has become.

 

So does anyone agree? If you do, start your reply with the word 'Yes'

In terms of Rule Enforcement = Yes, but thats to try and make the forum better, and it works.

Yes, but I think for it to become better and not go downhill to become harsher because of the art thing and stuff so I'm glad YCM becoming harsher :D

Well think of it this way. If people were not criticized about their Grammar then most sentences would be reduced to "lol yugi own kiba!"

 

As for the Graphic criticism I made a few banners once and I admit they sucked. People were very helpful though so i'm happy with htat :)

Yes, I'm not blaming it all on the 31,000 + noobs here but it is also family life and growning up to become more mature than other people here because if you look around it is people from like ages 10 + that get angry very easly in our days

Yes, I agree with you on this one, absalih. I posted the "My Cards!!!" thread in the pop culture cards sub-forum, & every comment posted was negative, & nobody's posted there since (& before some one says, "Maybe your cards really did just suck," don't). Also, people complain about how small the text in the OCG when the effect is really long. I say, so what? The OFFICIAL cards do that!

It depends. Since a majority of new members spam and make stupid overpowerd cards and post in the wrong section, I think that is the reason why members are becoming harsher. If that's the case, then yes. If not, then no

The downfall of YCM is happening as we speak, and YCM is not becoming harsher, it's becoming bitter.

 

Rules enforcement has increased, but because of new members not following rules properly. They find this forum a place to hang out and waste time. That isn't the case all the time. Some new members are very good and amazing talents they can bring.

 

People have become bitter on YCM because we have not yet become used to a forum filled with n00bs, spammers, and general idiots. We want to keep YCM, and our mentality is ''Cruel to be kind''. And unfortunately, this maybe the only way YCM can be saved. We have lost so many of the original pioneers of this website who can pass on so much great advice, but we can no longer seek the knowledge.

 

The harsh reality is YCM is going, going, gone.

Being cruel for a long period of time will sometimes work. Dj & browarod are doing a very fine job of keeping Custom Cards in Tip Top Condition. As Azmania says sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.

Alot of Older YCMaker Members left due to Noob and Spam increase, with the rules been enforced as they do, and with new Modertors on the way, i and we as the Modertion Team, hope to make the forum better and make it back to its original ways.

I now take all the nice things I said back. This site needs to be as strict as possible. After the attack we just had I feel totally different now. See how easy it was to cause damage in such a small time!? I'm going to have to be extra harsh from now on.

look i have a feeling that this site is never going to be stable but i will never forget this site if i leave.I should say when.But until then shall another attack like that happen i will do my best to get him off the site.(i know it sounds a little Super Moddy but im not tryn to make it sound like that)
