TAG
The number of newbies that most-likely haven't read the rules is simply absurd. Maybe it's because they simply forget to read them or something. I feel that when the user gets his/her account activation E-mail, the rules (along with stuff like How to Post cards, how to get an avatar/sig, how to get points, etc.) should be included. That way, the user can actually not have an excuse like "Sorry, I didn't know where to find the rules" or some BS like that. If not in the activation e-mail, then AT LEAST have something like that automatically sent to them as a PM when their account is activated.OMG! THE GRUES!!! AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!EXTENSION: Also, if it could be possible, maybe you could have some sort of quiz about the rules and how to post stuff included in the activation email that would prevent them from activating the account unless they pass it, thus showing that they actually read the rules. dracula_reborn
as a new user i think its a good idea. it took a while for me to find how to post cards in the forum and all that. the quiz is a bit extreme though.
Exiro
Good idea, but the quiz, that's just a no.Maybe they only want to use their account to store their cards or something (not sure if your account has to be activated for that), but it shouldn't be so hard to just sign up. However, I recommend that, when you post for the first time, you will first get a page which explains all the rules and/or penalties. I know another forum where they have that, and it works pretty good.
bury the year
Like the idea, but, why was the invisible writing necessary?
Atomix
Yes, great idea, i think that a little quiz to activate the account will be awesome but the problem is, if a noobs reads the rules does the quiz, but then ignores the rules and starts spamming. Thats a little problem

ITI3L33
It is a real good idea but the quiz, uh-uh. Some newbs could be kids and might have a bad memory like me and forget all the rules and stuff.
TAG
Like the idea' date=' but, why was the invisible writing necessary?[/quote']No. :P Anyways, to those who say no quiz, the reason I think that it would be a good idea is because some people will just be like "Ah, I don't need to read the rules, I can read them later." and sign up anyways, most likely breaking the rules without realizing it. The quiz is just so they will have to read the rules. The quiz won't be that hard, anyways.
Flame Dragon
Wow TAG you are smart. This is a great idea, and you should pm it to YCMaker. Good because it will help at least one or two people, and helping them is helping them.
