You use of C4Ds are wrong.

Black and white bars with scanlines =/= background.

Sorry I just started C4DS and was never taught how to use them :/

I thought the border was fairly good sized, it would look weird if it was smaller

and sorry I wasn't taught gimp, i kinda just learned it by myself, and never leanred these things

Well, it's alright. Since I'm no artist, my qualms against it are simply that I don't like basketball that much. That's my personal opinion, though, so your banner looks fine to me :P
