Once per turn, when a "Ghostrick" monster is flipped face-up: Apply one of the following effects.
* Target 1 face-up non-Link monster your opponent controls, switch the targeted card to face-down Defense Position.
* Target 1 Link monster your opponent controls, return the targeted card to the Extra Deck.
If this card is destroyed by an opponents card effect: Gain LP equal to the number of face-down monsters on the field x 500.

So this card gives Ghostricks a means to counter link monsters and even gain LP if your opponent goes to destroy it.
