I Hate Snatch Steal
This happened to pop up on my recommended videos list: (Sorry if this is in the wrong section) I don't really follow the competitive yugioh scene much so IDK if any of what he is saying is true. For example, was there actually a public discussion about inviting content creators to the recent world championship? The video lacks external links to any of the things he brings up such as a discussion about content creators being invited and never seems to directly quote any communication from Konami of America so I'm skeptical. Tinkerer
This could probably go into the TCG/OCG News, Information, and Tournaments subsection. Anyways, yeah I saw the vid a few days ago. There were content creators there, but it's difficult to know the criteria for them being invited or anything. As you said, he didn't give any sources, so as far as I could tell, it was speculation. Passionate speculation, but speculation nonetheless. The amount of creators at the event was limited and it did feel as though Konami was testing the waters by inviting them. That said, if this happened multiple times it'd be easier to see Cimo's points. Where did he say something about a public discussion? I don't remember that in the vid, but maybe I just forgot. vla1ne
it's arguably true, but not quite right. there was a content creator selection, but there's nothing proving that he is explicitly banned as far as i know.Thing is, there are other content creators that also didn't get callied in either for konami related events. he is really, really critical, and that's honestly the best thing about him, that he's honest and that's kinda his basis for what exactly he's 'banned' from konami related collaborations. that said, it seems more to me from his statements, that it's more that KoA is just a terrible company (as we see with practically every comparison to konami of europe), than konami as a whole has banned or shadowbanned him. so less "he's banned because he's a negative influence" and more "Konami in america is a far worse company than Konami in europe, and KoA hates hearing that so they don't invite cimo, or anyone else who's critical of them, to their panels the way KoE does."
