If this card would be destroyed by battle: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to double the battle damage you would of taken instead. ATK/2500 DEF/2100 So Grand Champion is a 3 Material Rank 4 that doubles its power when attacking bigger monsters and can also protect itself while unleashing a heavy counter on your opponent by reflecting double the battle damage at them.
