Thomas★Zero
D.D. Patrol Plane lv 3 DARK Machine/Effect During the End Phase of a turn in which this card was banished: You can banish 1 card in your hand, on your side of the field or in your GY, and if you do, Special Summon this card in Attack Position. You can only use this effect of "D.D. Patrol Plane" once per turn. ATK/1200 DEF/
Tinkerer
Interesting. A revamped version of D.D. Scout Plane? This one has a better level and it could help trigger other banish-based stuff, but right now it feels a bit inferior to the old card tbh.

vla1ne
you can banish black or white dragon to get a search, you can use sclipse wyvern for the same, you can banish necroface to be a dick. you can banish an opponents monster if you've taken control of it using any method and haven't given it back for some reason (crackdown/mind control most likely) metaphys could use this to trigger most effects, as far as fulfilling the condition, guardragons seem to love the baby chaos dragons and the primal one. Eater of millions can banish it to get some manner of return in decks that can afford to run them, Gern maju.dek might be fun to test this out in, the new dark spirit is finally out, so that's a quick way to use this, as a machine, cyber dragons might see some manner of use for this... that's a reach. that's all i got for this one atm. Guest BGMCANN0N
I find it funny how D.D. very occasionally gets stuff like D.D. Seeker and this... But, nothing that would establish it as a solid archetype. Just stuff of pack filler value. I hope that will change someday.

Tinkerer
Ok, I couldn't really pull my thoughts together on this card before, but I think I've got it. Unfortunately, the card is just kinda trapped within itself. - Firstly, the decks that could potentially use this card's banishing effect don't necessarily have a reliable method to banish this in the first place, and if they did, they'd probably be better off banishing stuff that provides active value rather than gaining value during the End Phase.- On the other side, decks that do have a means of banishing this (the aforementioned baby Chaos Dragons as a premier example) wouldn't really benefit a whole lot from this card's banish effect in the first place since all it does it place a "normal monster" on the field at a time it can't really be used. The fact it triggers in the End Phase and is just a vanilla monster on field is where the problem lies. You can't actually do anything with this unless you summon it during your opponent's end phase, exacerbating the first issue. (of the good banishing options, how many work during the opponent's turn?) The card is just... exceptionally awkward. Not bad, just awkward. goodfusion
I was considering playing D.D. Scout Plane and Cyber Ouroboros in a Heavy Metal Raiders deck. The idea was that Heavy Metal Raiders allows you to benefit by summoning Scout Plane in Attack Position. However there wasn't really enough to go with so I didn't bother. This seems like it would be a good addition to that deck so I might try it out now. I really like how it doesn't make Cyber Ouroboros miss the timing. Still, Tinkerer has a good point, I would need more ways to banish it in the first place. Allure of Darkness is great but it can't run the deck by itself.
