(1) During your opponent’s Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up monster you control; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, immediatly after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon using only that monster and this card.

A Synchro-ing handtrap? About time!

 

It also offers Pseudo-targeting protection which is nice. It is a little annoying that it's pretty much a handtrap that benefits the turn 1 player, but the effect is neat nonetheless.

 

It can easily help drop Crystal Wing and it obviously works well alongside the Black Rose Dragons, but what are some other good Sync targets for this?

You can use it on any level 6 for an immediate beelze as a response, on any level 3 for an immediate samsara if responding to destruction,(maybe even catastor if worried about a non dark monster) on any level 4 for things like stardust charge/coral dragon, if you have access to a level 5 on board, you can even pull out a psyframe/black rose.
