[Written] Cybeast Archetype

This is an archetype of Cyberse monsters I came up with generically based around computer things ( programs, viruses, etc ). The monsters have effects that revolve both around generic summoning and helping out with fusion summoning. The archetype works nicely with Cynet Fusion ( searching it out and interacting with it ), making it the Polyermization of the deck. The fusions have pretty crazy effects, interacting with the opponent in somewhat wacky ways. The deck is attribute based, with each main deck monster being a different attribute, and the fusion monsters requiring monsters of varying attributes to be used for their fusion summon. 

 

Any kind of feedback is always greatly appreciated! 

 

Edit: To clarify, Cynet Fusion and Cybeast Fusion are 2 completely separate cards

Cynet Fusion 

Spell - Normal 

 

Fusion Summon 1 Cyberse Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material. If you control no monsters in the Extra Monster Zone, you can also banish up to 1 Cyberse Link Monster from your GY as Fusion Material.

Cybeast Browser

Level 1 / Light / Cyberse / Effect

100 attack / 0 defense

 

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 “Cybeast” monster from your Deck to your hand, except “Cybeast Browser”, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck for the rest of the turn, except Cyberse monsters. You can only use this effect of “Cybeast Browser” once per turn.

 

Cybeast Recycler

Level 2 / Earth / Cyberse / Effect

700 attack / 500 defense

 

If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a “Cybeast” monster: You can add 1 “Cybeast” Spell/Trap card from your Deck or GY to your hand. If this card is sent to the GY for the Link or Fusion Summon of a “Cybeast” monster or by the effect of a “Cybeast” card: You can target 1 “Cybeast” monster in your GY, except “Cybeast Recycler”; place it on the bottom of your Deck, and if you do, draw 1 card. You can only use one effect of “Cybeast Recycler” per turn, and only once that turn.

 

Cybeast Trasher

Level 2 / Dark / Cyberse / Effect

800 attack / 400 defense

 

If you control a “Cybeast” monster, except “Cybeast Trasher” or a Fusion monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card is sent to your GY for the Link or Fusion Summon of a “Cybeast” monster or by the effect of a “Cybeast” card: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy that target during the End Phase of the next turn. You can only use each effect of “Cybeast Trasher” once per turn.

 

Cybeast Regulator

Level 3 / Fire / Cyberse / Effect

0 attack / 0 defense

 

If this card is in your hand: You can activate this effect; Immediately after this effect resolves, Fusion Summon 1 “Cybeast” Fusion monster by using monsters in your hand as Fusion Materials, including this card. If this card is in your GY: You can activate this effect; Immediately after this effect resolves, Fusion Summon 1 “Cybeast” Fusion monster by banishing the required Fusion Materials from your GY, including this card. You can only use 1 effect of “Cybeast Regulator” per turn, and only once that turn.

 

Cybeast Recoverer

Level 4 / Water / Cyberse / Effect

1500 attack / 300 defense

 

If this card is Summoned: You can target 1 “Cybeast” monster in your GY, except a Fusion monster; Special Summon in in Defense Position, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck for the rest of the turn, except Cyberse monsters. You can only use this effect of “Cybeast Recoverer” once per turn.

 

Cybeast Social Bot

Level 5 / Wind / Cyberse / Effect

2000 attack / 0 defense

 

If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If Summoned this way, this card cannot be used as Link Material, except for the Link Summon of a “Cybeast” Link monster. If this card is sent to the GY for the Link or Fusion Summon of a “Cybeast” monster or by the effect of a “Cybeast” card: You can target 1 “Cybeast” monster in your GY, except “Cybeast Social Bot”; add that target to your hand. You can only use each effect of “Cybeast Social Bot” once per turn.

Cybeast Helper

If this card is Link Summoned using a “Cybeast” monster as Link Material: You can add 1 “Cynet Fusion” from your Deck to your hand. You cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck for the rest of the turn after this effect resolves, except “Cybeast” monsters. You can only use this effect of “Cybeast Helper” once per turn. A monster that was Fusion Summoned by using this card as Fusion Material gains 300 ATK and DEF while it is face-up on the field.

 

Cybeast Support

Link 2 / Water / Cyberse / Link / Effect

Link Materials: 2 Cyberse monsters

Link Markers: Bottom Left, Bottom Right

1000 attack

 

If this card is Link Summoned using a “Cybeast” monster as Link Material: You can add 1 “Cynet Fusion” from your GY to your hand. You cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck for the rest of the turn after this effect resolves, except “Cybeast” monsters. You can only use this effect of “Cybeast Support” once per turn. A monster that was Fusion Summoned by using this card as Fusion Material cannot be destroyed by battle while it reamins face-up on the field.

 

Cybeast Navigator

Link 3 / Earth / Cyberse / Link / Effect

Link Materials: 2+ “Cybeast” monsters

Link Markers: Bottom Left, Bottom, Bottom Right

2000 attack

 

This card can be treated as any Attribute for the Fusion Summon of a “Cybeast” Fusion monster. During your Main Phase: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 “Cybeast” monster in your GY, except the card you discarded or a Fusion monster; Special Summon it to your Zone this card points to in Defense Position. You can only use this effect of “Cybeast Navigator” once per turn. Once per turn, if a “Cybeast” Fusion monster(s) is Special Summoned to your Zone this card points to: You can draw 1 card.

 

Cybeast Trojan

Level 5 / Light / Cyberse / Fusion / Effect

2000 attack / 1600 defense

2 “Cybeast” monsters with different Attributes

 

During your Main Phase: You can give control of this card to your opponent, and if you do, Special Summon 2 “Cybeast” monsters with different names from your Deck in Defense Position. You can only use this effect of “Cybeast Trojan” once per turn. If this card is targeted for an attack by a “Cybeast” monster: Destroy this card, and if you do, take 2000 damage.

 

Cybeast Catfish

Level 6 / Water / Cyberse / Fusion / Effect

2300 attack / 2000 defense

2 “Cybeast” monsters, including a WATER monster

 

During your Main Phase: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; switch control of both the targeted monster and this card. You can only use this effect of “Cybeast Catfish” once per turn. If this card is targeted for an attack while your opponent controls a monster originally owned by you: Draw 1 card, then switch control of this card to your opponent.

 

Cybeast Scam Page

Level 7 / Earth / Cyberse / Fusion Effect

2700 attack / 2500 defense

3 “Cybeast” monsters, including an EARTH monster

 

Once per turn, during either players turn: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up card on the field; place that target on top of the Deck. Your opponent can place 1 card from their hand on the top of their Deck to destroy that targeted card instead. Once during each turn, if a card(s) you control would be destroyed by a card effect, you can banish 1 “Cybeast” monster from your GY instead.

 

Cybeast Firewall

Level 8 / Fire / Cyberse / Fusion / Effect

0 attack / 3000 defense

3 “Cybeast” monsters, including a FIRE monster

 

Your opponent cannot target “Cybeast” monsters you control with card effects, also they are unaffected by your opponent’s Spell cards. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can Tribute 1 “Cybeast” monster you control; Special Summon this card from your GY, and if you do, Draw 1 card.

 

Cybeast Clickbait

Level 9 / Wind / Cyberse / Fusion / Effect

3000 attack / 3000 defense

4 “Cybeast” monsters, including a WIND monster

 

If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can Set 1 “Cybeast” Spell/Trap Card directly from your Deck. Once per turn, during either players turn, when your opponent activates a card or effect that targets a “Cybeast” card(s) you control: You can change that effect to “Your opponent adds 1 “Cybeast” monster from their GY or banished cards to their hand”.

 

Cybeast Ultimate Virus

Level 10 / Dark / Fusion / Effect

4000 attack / 4000 defense

5 “Cybeast” monsters, including 2 Fusion monsters

 

This Fusion Summoned card is unaffected by the effects of monsters whose original Attribute is the same as any of the original Attributes of monsters used for this card’s Fusion Summon. Once per turn, during either players turn: You can banish 1 card on the field. If this Fusion Summoned card is sent from the field to the GY: You can target 1 Level 9 or lower “Cybeast” Fusion monster in your GY or banished cards; Special Summon it. That monster cannot be destroyed by battle during the turn it is Summoned.

Spell - Field

 

All “Cybeast” monsters you control gain 200 ATK and DEF. Once per turn: You can target 1 “Cybeast” monster you control; apply one of the following effects.

  • Declare 1 Attribute. That monster’s Attribute becomes that Attribute while it is face-up on the field for the rest of this turn.

  • Send that target to the GY, and if you do, Draw 2 cards.

  • Send 1 “Cybeast” monster from your Deck to your GY with a different original Attribute from the targeted monster.

 

Cybeast Fusion

Spell - Normal

 

Fusion Summon 1 “Cybeast” Fusion monster by shuffling the required Fusion Materials from your GY and/or banished cards into your Deck. The monster Summoned by this effect cannot attack during the turn it is Summoned. You can only activate 1 “Cybeast Fusion” per turn.

 

Cybeast Recovery Process

Spell - Normal

 

Target 1 “Cybeast” monster in your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to your GY: You can banish this card from your GY, along with 1 “Cybeast” monster from your GY, then target 1 “Cybeast” monster in your GY with a different original Attribute from the banished monster; Special Summon it in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of “Cybeast Recovery Process” once per turn.

 

Cybeast Info Leak

Trap - Normal

 

If a monster(s) is Summoned while you control a “Cybeast” monster: Destroy all monsters on the field, then you can Special Summon 1 “Cybeast” monster from your Deck with a different original Attribute from all of the monsters you control that were destroyed by this effect. If you Special Summon a monster with this effect, your opponent can Draw 1 card. You can only activate 1 “Cybeast Info Leak” per turn. If you control a “Cybeast” Fusion monster, you can activate this card from your hand.

 

Cybeast Missclick

Trap - Counter

 

When a card or effect is activated that targets a “Cybeast” card(s) you control: Negate the activatoin, then if your opponent controls more cards on their field than you do, you can destroy 1 card your opponent controls. You can only activate 1 “Cybeast Missclick” per turn. If you control a “Cybeast” Fusion monster, you can activate this card from your hand.

Big Rockman.exe vibes here. Surprised there's no Cybeast Spam tho. I like the archetype, but maybe Ultimate Virus is a little bit too hard to summon considering Cybeast Fusion (is it Cybeast Fusion or Cynet Fusion? It is listed in these two different ways all over your post) isn't that searchable/floatable and can only be activated once per turn, so Ultimate Virus ends up kinda being a trash card for having such a harsh requirement to come into play.
