I happened to be reiminded of this series earlier today so I was curious if there were any versions of it that are well enough written to be enjoyable for someone like me who enjoys Saturday morning cartoons, if they are well enough written/acted.

The producers weren't trying hard enough and thus I couldn't get into it.

 

Also since there are multiple reboots of TMNT, which one would you recommend over the others?
