The former has access to Allure though and the there's little reason to want to banish 2 Psy-frames... especially considering how big of Ash bait this card is. I guess decks that spam Extra Deck monsters could use this, but unless those cards do literally nothing on the field, this card still feels worse. Though it works on anything from the Extra Deck so maybe a couple left-over Link 1s or even a Metaphys Horus controlling an opponent's Link can do the trick.... one could get creative.
