Is this really what REDMD died for?

Very disappointing, it could have been generic and it will still be bad. They could have make it to require 3 lvl 4 (any monster) to justify its stats, and buff in its effects at least

I get why it has restrictions, but not why it has both of them. Barring direct attacks would have been sufficient, and preventing SS, even just from the ED for the rest of the turn, would have been perfectly reasonable. This is kinda just overkill restrictions for the sake of overkill. Still, this at least proves that they know what restrictions are.
