(2) You can remove 3 Spell Counters from this card; Special Summon 1 monster you can place a Spell Counter on from your face-up Extra Deck and this card from your Pendulum Zone, and if you do, place 1 Spell Counter on each of these 2 monsters.

Monster Effect:

You can only Special Summon “Magister of Endymion(s)” once per turn.

(1) When this card declares an attack: You can place 1 Spell Counter on this card.

(2) Once per turn, during your opponent’s turn (Quick Effect): You can remove 3 Spell Counters from cards you control; Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck that you can place a Spell Counter on.

(3) If this card is destroyed in the Monster Zone: You can place this card in the Pendulum Zone, then place Spell Counters on this card equal to the Spell Counters that were on it.

(2) You can remove 3 Spell Counters from this card; Special Summon both this card from your Pendulum Zone and 1 monster from your Deck with 1000 or more ATK that you can place a Spell Counter on, and if you do, place 1 Spell Counter on each of those 2 monsters.

Monster Effects:

You can Special Summon “Servant of Endymion”(s) only once per turn.

(1) This card can attack directly while it has a Spell Counter(s).

(2) Once per opponent’s turn (Quick Effect): You can discard 1 card; place 1 Spell Counter on this card and all other cards you control that you can place a Spell Counter on.

(3) If this card in a Monster Zone is destroyed: You can place this card in your Pendulum Zone, then place Spell Counters on it equal to to the Spell Counters that were on it.

Monster Effect:

You can only Special Summon “Empress of Endymion” once per turn.

(1) If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 card you control that has Spell Counters and 1 card your opponent controls; return those cards controlled by you and your opponent to the hand, then, place the same number of Spell Counters that were in the card that you returned from your field to the hand on this card.

(2) When this card with Spell Counters is destroyed in battle: You can add 1 “Endymion” card from your Deck to your hand.

You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn.

(1) This card’s name becomes “Magical Citadel of Endymion” while it is in the Spell & Trap Zones.

(2) Each time a Spell is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card when it resolves.

(3) Once per turn, after damage calculations when a Spellcaster monster you control is destroyed by battle: You can remove 6 Spell Counters from cards you control; Special Summon 1 Level 7 or higher Spellcaster monster from your hand or Deck.

You can also make Ib/Denglong with the level 3 which might lead to some nutty things

Weird that two Pendulum Archetypes now have to do with Spell Counters, but I suppose it makes sense. I do hope for something new from them though. Regardless, these do play differently than Mythical Beast, and also seem more powerful on paper, and being able to produce a funk-ton of Spell Counters at once is nice.

So ... I like them, or want to like them ... though these mostly appear to be designed to force Tempest Magician on the banlist and expose it should have never been printed to being with.

The first 4 are actually really amazing.

Spell Power Control effectively can work with the decks link monster where it can grant a massive attack boost based on the number of copies on field/in grave.

 

Also I find it hilarious that Guidance of Spell Salvation is literally a Warrior Returning Alive for Spellcasters even though its limited to Effect monsters and has a hard OPT.

Servant ability to pitch every monster from your deck is scary sheet.

Just some silly thoughts:

- "Unpossessed" can tutor Servant from the Deck.

- "Fairy Tail - Luna" can search Empress. (Wasn't there another card recently that also dealt with Spellcaster 1850 ATK?)

- Magical Marionette doesn't have an OPT.
