Can this target itself? It seems too situational for my liking.

Can this target itself? It seems too situational for my liking.

It discards and then targets, so I am pretty sure it can revive itself and then float into Monster Reborn afterwards, which is a nice protective play, although with the abundance of negating that might be too passive to matter.
