Ryusei the Morning Star
Steep cost for ash bait. Discard spell and tribute it, for a toolbox There's a reason summoner monk is bad
Sleepy
Yeah the Tributing part is overkill, and if the cost is because of some high level boss they plan to make later on, I'm still not entirely on board with the design. At least she's got a GY effect to make up for it. Guess they don't wanna make Ash uselessly outclassed. At the moment the card doesn't tell much about the theme. It's a consistency card for something we haven't seen. I mean, its still a funking neg 2, that's just crazy in this day and age
Sleepy
I mean, its still a funking neg 2, that's just crazy in this day and age An opponent's Ash discard is a -1 from their end so the loss is a tiny bit less harsh, but it is still not an effect that's appealing to me.The GY effect still helps get something out of the deck . Who knows? Maybe they'll get something like a Spell with a GY effect that revives.
vla1ne
You're being a bit harsh on it winter. we don't have full details just yet, and for an archetype named witchcraft, i'm assuming they have some spells that would mitigate the loss from the first effect. The first effect, while ash bait, is a quick effect that summons as of yet, a series of unknown cards. all it would take is one good target to make the effect worth using, and it can chain to other effects, and trigger during BP, so it can help dodge things, or stack on battle damage as needed. the second effect is a foolish for yet unknown cards. as with the first effect, we don't know what it searches yet, but once we do, if there's anything worth milling, this will clearly do the trick. From this alone, i'm assuming the main gimmick will likely revolve around milling renewable spells, while swapping out monsters, but we'll see.
