This archetype revolves around 3 guardians of the Forbidden Blades, that each contain the soul of ancient ravenous demons. When a Blade is destroyed, that demon's soul is released, and can form one of the 3 Link Monsters, and their true form.In times of need, the Shinshoku will step in to abolish the demons as best as possible, hopefully before the Foolish Apprentice believes he can control the power of the Forbidden Blades, and attack blindly. There are 13 cards in total, in order of Monsters/Spells/Traps Forbidden Blade Foolish ApprenticeLevel 2/ EARTH/ Warrior/ EffectATK/1000 DEF/0If this card is Normal Summoned: You can take 1 "Forbidden Blade" Equip Spell Card from your Deck, and equip it to 1 appropriate monster on the field. Once per turn: You can destroy 1 Equip Spell equipped to this card; destroy 1 monster on the field, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Fiend Monsters. Forbidden Blade Incense MaidLevel 1/ WIND/ Spellcaster/ EffectATK/0 DEF/0Once per turn (Quick Effect): While "Altar of the Forbidden Blades" is on the field, negate the effects of all other face-up monsters, until the end of the turn.Unbound Fool of Forbidden BladesLevel 7/ DARK/ Warrior/ EffectATK/1800 DEF/1800This card's effects cannot be negated. This card can declare a number of attacks per Battle Phase equal to the number of "Forbidden Blade" Spells equipped to it. You can only activate this effect of "Unbound Pale Archfiend" once per turn. Altar of The Forbidden BladesField SpellOnce per turn: You can destroy 1 card in your hand or you control; add 1 "Forbidden Blade" card from your Deck to your hand. When an "Unbound" Fiend monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: You can have all "Unbound" Fiend monsters gain 700 ATK, and then destroy this card. Makuro, Forbidden BladeEquip SpellEquip to 1 non-Token Monster. Equipped monster gains 1200 ATK, and it's effects are negated. If you control no monsters: You can reveal this card in your hand; destroy it. When this card is destroyed (by card effect): Special Summon 2 "Bound Archfiend" Tokens (Fiend/DARK/Level 3/1250 ATK/600 DEF) in Defense Position. (You can only control up to 2 "Bound Archfiend" Tokens at a time, and they cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon.) Gold Tracer, Forbidden BladeEquip SpellEquip to 1 non-Token Monster. During your Battle Phase the equipped monster's ATK is halved, and it can attack your opponent directly. When this card is destroyed (by card effect): Special Summon 1 "Bound Archfiend" Token (Fiend/DARK/Level 3/1250 ATK/600 DEF) in Defense Position. (You can only control up to 2 "Bound Archfiend" Tokens at a time, and they cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon.)Silver Tracer, Forbidden BladeEquip SpellEquip to 1 non-Token Monster. If the equipped monster inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Look at your opponents hand, and send 1 monster card among them to the GY. When this card is destroyed (by card effect): Special Summon 1 "Bound Archfiend" Token (Fiend/DARK/Level 3/1250 ATK/600 DEF) in Defense Position. (You can only control up to 2 "Bound Archfiend" Tokens at a time, and they cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon.) Soul Eater, Forbidden BladeEquip SpellEquip to 1 non-Token Monster. If the equipped monster is an "Unbound" Fiend Monster, the equipped monster cannot be destroyed by card effects. When a face-up monster is destroyed (by battle or card effects): Increase the equipped monsters ATK by 800. Equipped monster must attack each turn if able. During your Standby Phase: Destroy the equipped monster. Seal Within The Forbidden BladesTrapReturn all Fiend Monsters on the field to the Deck, and if you do, gain 1000 LP for each one, and draw 1 card for each. If you control "Forbidden Blade Shinshoku", you can activate this card from your hand. [spoiler=Flavor]Three swords rest in an altar, delicately guarded for generations. Long ago, three terrible beings ravaged the land. These creatures seemed indestructible, but a solution was founded by a great sage, using Sealing Magics. To see that these powerful forces are forever bound, a group was formed to continually stand and keep these blades in safe keeping, but with every generation also comes new and curious faces. I'll add that 2500 for the "boss" is quite steep, but I thought it might have been balanced by what is necessary to put it on board. Looking at it now, I can match the current highest for a Link-2 at 2100. Will just need to adjust the Link-1's and Tokens to 1050 ATK each.
