Atypical-Abbie
Interesting, using a Normal Monster as a Tuner within a Synchro Monster's own effect, that could be interesting to play with. Also, seems pretty decent for World Chalice, searching and floating is great for a Synchro Tuner so you can get more out of it. Dinowrestler, the Link Arrows are sad, but none of its effect use it, so I guess it's alright, World Dino Wrestling is still just a meh thing in general I feel. goodfusion
So, it's pretty much just Denglong but for World Chalice? Right... Still, it's a Level 5 Synchro and that compels me make it worth playing in Aliens somehow... It can search stuff that can be bounced with Gol'Gar which is something at least. Darj
Damn, Ib Miko looks great to me. A more generic way than Morning Star to fetch World Legacy cards, including splashable ones like their Reborn. You could try to play it like Denglong too by grabbing disruptive stuff like World Legacy's Sorrow or the Link Summoning Urgent Tuning, if you got the setup for them. IDK if it got engine potential by teching World Chalice monsters for the float, as well.As if that wasn't enough, it's a Synchro Tuner, which means it's Summonable by Needlefiber. Ryusei the Morning Star
I mean denglong is on his way to 3 nipside. And will likely see an unban state side too. A infernity barrier alone isn't enough to stem the tide in this era of game-play. My guess: the float effect will be far more vital

My guess: the float effect will be far more vitalbut she doesn’t search infernity barrier She searches revival. 3 flavors of it, though successor is the general best one. She’s better than Denglong in most regards, because she extends your plays by a ton, but she can’t level modulate in exchange.

Darj
I thought WL got a counter trap? I stand corrected then. They do, WL Sorrow, I mentioned it earlier. It requires you to control a co-linked monster to be live.
Black D'Sceptyr
Apologies for the spiel before I review, Jevil crystallized the important parts of it before and I thank him for it. I just wanted to define something quick about the new Ib. So its been called the new Denglong, and while it does fit in cosmetic regards-a Level 5 Synchro Tuner that gives you something coming and going. But this misses its placement in combos, especially in Dino variants-the type that has exploited both Ib now and Denglong then, to the point of the latter card getting banned for it. See, Denglong, in the span of the combos it ran with Dinos, came up later in the combo than Ib does, and that's what separates it from Ib in the most startling way. Ib, see, starts the snowball downhill while Denglong is that snowball halfway to the comically giant form, to borrow from old cartoons. In longer terms, Ib starts the combo, Denglong is a crucial but enormously advantageous midpoint in it. If Ib's place in a combo-as hinted at by its reference as Denglong Jr.-is to be properly placed, take into account what usually happens after it comes out-it either grabs W.L. Awakening or Burgoening-usually the latter-and is tuned with a Level 4 to get the Level 9 Synchro, putting it in perfect place for Burgoening to push out two more bodies and bring you Calamities, Enterblathnir, or a fully activated Demiurgear. Now, which card in the Denglong Dino build tended to do what Ib just did there-in pushing out a Level 9 to the board, summoning more stuff from the Deck through its arrival, and profiting? S'right. Dragonic Diagram. And that's what Ib is to the combination. Its the ladder to a way to push out more bodies on the board and benefit, like Diagram was when it got Lithosagym and that bombed Babycerasaurus to hit the field and ream the Extra Deck. So Jevil's right-this does bring you stuff coming and going, but its to continue a combo, not end one like Denglong did with Nine Paths. And it being an Extra Deck monster makes that part of the combo all the less susceptible to disruption than if it were in the main Deck. Alright, spiel over. Ib's a phenomenal asset to the Deck, it fetching Burgoening and making Vermillion Dragon Mech/Cloudcastle to extend is insane, and it revivng W.C. monsters might singlehandedly make them an engine. Wouldn't be the first an engine centered around a few vanillas did big things. 9.4/10, and welcome back to the fold of the living, Ib. Terra Parkourio, also, is okay, I suppose. Does incentivize running the Field Spell, but more of the Dinowrestlers that can Summon from the hand would do that as well. Link Arrows aren't hot, but it can revive itself in Main, and it's clearly meant to be a ladder Link with Pankratops, so its fine, I guess. 6.5/10.
