Blake
It's... not terrible, but it requires prior setup, which means it's really a nogo.
Ryusei the Morning Star
It's... not terrible, but it requires prior setup, which means it's really a nogo. It's the finisher play. Normal this, to make Trish, Denglong, Dawn Dragster etc and end. Set up isn't hard to do anymore. The loss of Goblin might hurt it's utility in certain decks however
goodfusion
I can see this in some WATER/Fish spam deck. Can be used to Synchro Summon White Aura Monokeros, and allows you to discard your Coelacanth/Nimble Angler/Atlanteans. Plus it's a Salvage target. Also, discard outlet for Assault Mode Zero. I can see it in Arcanite Magician/Assault Mode decks or for any other Level 7 or lower Assault Modes we get.
The Highlander
Funny, as mentioned above this massively buffs Coelacanth decks, my main complaint would be that it should allow at least 1 Link Summon (for Mistar Boy), but oh well, in that case it takes a slight bit more work. Darj
A generic Lumina/Zombie Master that depends on a Normal Summon. Seems too late to the party to me. Could have had a much bigger impact if it was released before MR4. At least it's a Salvage target. It's a Debris Dragon target by the way, for whatever that's worth nowadays xDI find it funny because they are similar in that they have revival effects that rely on the NS, and come with a restriction. Huh, this even has -500 ATK/DEF than Debris.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
I know this isn't really comparable to debris dragon, but my mind wants to make that comparison really badly and it makes this feel super funking mediocre. The fact that it requires prior setup, but also uses the normal summon, is a really awkward combination of traits. I well understand that cards like junk forward allow you to make plays before your normal summon, but a lot of decks rely on the normal summon to get advantage engines started, not finished. Expelsword
Having 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your Graveyard isn't asking much in terms of setup.
Blake
Having 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your Graveyard isn't asking much in terms of setup. When it locks you into only Synchros for the remainder of the turn and only procs via normal summon, yes it is. It even costs a discard and negates the effects. It requires a Link(s) a spirit setup for it to be realistically usable, so to claim it’s just a 4 or lower is just intentionally misconstruing things.
