Cheat Codes

By now, they are mostly a thing of the past. Not to say that cheat codes are completely gone. Rockstar still implemented them for example. But regardless, what are some cheat codes you remember? Whether they be really good, bad, or in some cases useless. Not sure if GameShark or Action Replay count, but I guess you could bring them up if you don't know of any in-game codes off the top of your head.

I hacked the sheet out of my pokemon games with Action Replay and later, PowerSaves.  Mostly for Infinite Master Balls and Rare Candies.  Did use game-shark a bit, but somehow all the internal codes got erased, so I just tossed it.  

 

For Pokemon, I would buy both versions in a Generation, and hack one and play legit in the other.  Come Gen7, only thing I hacked in was a 6IV ditto and a ditto with straight 30 IVs for HP breeding.  Babies are legit so it's fine in my book.

"watch_me_xplode", unlocks everything in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 for PS2.

 

"rimbuk", unlocks everything in Midnight Club 2.

The only game I used cheat codes for was Grand Theft Auto because those codes just make the game so much more fun to mess around in.

I remember one in San Andreas that made cars basically float and so if things, like other cars, ran into them they'd just soar through the air.

GTA VC and SA had some really funny cheat codes and i do remember spamming "motherlode" in sims XD

Hoyohoyo (makes priests insane)

Photon Man (makes a laser soldier)

E=mc2 Trooper (makes a nuke soldier)

Kill# (destroys the player whose number you put in the #)

 

AoE2

Marco (reveals the map)

Polo (removes fog of war)

Lumberjack (1000 wood)

 

AoE3

Where's my axe (Summon a giant bust of George Washington)

Give me liberty or give me coin (1000 coin)

For me they were a Pokemon Heart Gold emulator and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Infinite flying, all slots, all characters, ect, ect.

A lot of Grand Theft Auto here. Including myself. My personal favorite cheat was one where you get no stars. Do whatever you want without negative repercussions from the authorities.

 

I also used one in Ben 10: Protector of Earth for different appearances. And Yugioh: The Duelists of the Roses for some sweet cards (including Exodia pieces!). The game with the shittiest cheat codes was Forbidden Memories. You know the cheat code? Great! Good for you. But you still got to pay 999999 stars.

 

Also, fun fact: Metal Gear for NES has a cheat code that is "funk ME 11111111". Now, what does that cheat do? Put you in the last stage unequipped.

 

Castlevania III's more subtle "HELPME" gives you lives.

I used that when i was in the mood for chaos or free roaming within area 69 in San Andreas. My personal favorite has gotta be invincibility though, just for the fun of it XD
