YCM Idol Grand Prix

 

You may be wondering: "Why the name change?" Well, this isn't the same tournament, so it isn't a name change.

The previous idol tournament wasn't based on which character themselves that you liked more, this is.

As for where the names come from,

the other one was "The Great YCM Idol Festival" which came from "The Great Starmiya Ichigo Festival" from Aikatsu!

This one comes from "Dream Idol Grand Prix" from PriPara-pri. Heehee.

 

[spoiler=Rules]1. Each person is allowed to nominate up to 8 13 idols (male or female) from anime and games. You must include their names, and what they are from.
1a. This number may change.

2. You may not nominate more than 3 characters from the same thing, unless you only know one or two.
2a. To be a bit more in depth about the "same thing" part:
Idol characters from something that isn't mainly about idols are allowed. Examples would be Kanon from The World God Only Knows and Rise from Persona 4 (these are the only examples because I can't think of any more).
iDOLMASTER idols will count as being from The iDOLMASTER, The iDOLMASTER: Cinderella Girls, The iDOLMASTER: Million Live! (the "new" idols introduced in the movie are from this), The iDOLMASTER: SideM or The iDOLMASTER: Shiny Colors. This is because there are too many games to count them all separately (if you do, you can probably fill all your nominations with the original idols).
Love Live! idols in the School Idol Project and Sunshine anime will count as being from the same thing.
Love Love! idols that aren't in the anime but are in the School Idol Festival game are separate from the ones that appeared in the anime.
Characters in the BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! game won't be allowed unless they are from the Pastel*Palettes band, which is specifically meant to be an idol band (I discussed this with someone that's much more of a fan than me).

3. An idol needs only one nomination is needed to be in. The goal is at least 64.

4. No using alternate accounts to nominate or vote.

5. Keep it civil.

6. Advertising matches is okay but it's not okay to specify who you want people to vote for at the same time.

7. Matches will be 1v1 when possible. Ties will be allowed until the finals, to allow a winner.
