The Warden
Hmm, so this is the finale of the Condemned Maiden's storyline huh? She ends up a Darklord. The card seems legit, though I feel like that second effect would have been more valuable had it been Darklord card instead of monster.
The Highlander
Sounds decent, propably a Venus target and either adds Ixchel or sends superbia to one's graveyard.Beyond that it actually turns Morningstar playable, removing its Tribute Summon costs. Bringerofcake
I'd like everyone to take a moment to appreciate the full art, which didn't make it to the card: If you can unbrick your hand enough to get her our (or run venus), she can defo unbrick the rest of your hand. In fact she super favors Venus because the shineballs/venus can be tribute fodder after you link them away to make her. Beyond cute regardless. Darj
It's so nice to see the Maiden become into such a magnificent being. Her witch form couldn't be fully appreciated because of the hood and shady look. I'm not too familiar with Darklords so I can't say much about this card. I can see they will appreciate being Normal Summonable without Tributes and fixing hands with the (2) effect, but how effective are they at getting 2 Fairies on board without spending the Normal Summon? I can see they will appreciate being Normal Summonable without Tributes and fixing hands with the (2) effect, but how effective are they at getting 2 Fairies on board without spending the Normal Summon? They use Darklord Ixchel with Superbia for setup and ultimately use their archtypal reborn to summon back superbia, which then creates the 2 materials.Darklord Ukoback sending Superbia and then using any revival Spell on that would work. This card also adds Survivors of the World Legacy access for more Superbia plays, given that Superbia does not have any opt restriction whatsoever. In that regard they are like the Scrap archtype, they mainly focus on an old revival oriented monster without opt restriction (Darklord Superbia, Scrap Golem). Kingdom Xathers
Good to see that Salem finally became a Yu-Gi-Monster: Joking aside, being able to use your Grave as a resource for Tribute Summoning your Darklords is great in regards to Morningstar (and Desire, if you seriously want to, but who in their right mind would?), allowing you to use Morningstar's 1st effect without having to commit a board beforehand. Her 2nd effect would've been a lot better if it let you search/dump your Spells and Traps as well, but I guess I can understand why they restricted it to just monsters. Speaking of the S/Ts, the 3rd is clearly meant for you to replenish all the LP you'll be using for the Darklord monsters to copy the S/T Effects; combined with the aforementioned Morningstar, it helps keep your LP stable enough for the next usage of a Darklord monster's effect. (GigaDrillBreaker)
That first effect is pretty fantastic. That second effect is pretty fantastic. That third effect is frosting.
