Arimetal
Get it? No really though, if the site really does cost more to run then what it brings in, can we get the ads back on here? Despite me drifting away now and again, I really dont wanna see this place suddenly gone just cause YCMaker cant afford it.
mido9
Fully agree, a bit of ads don't bother me as much as YCMaker going "yeah whatever this isn't worth the money"
Nathanael D. Striker
My issue with the ads is him potentially (most likely) not improving the site as a result. If I had to guess, the state of disrepair the site and his cardmaker are in is a significant reason for his declining revenue. If his Cardmaker was up to date and working properly, the as revenue from that part alone should increase. So, I'd welcome relevant ads (none of the Allstate and CenturyLink crap I saw, think games) if he would put that revenue towards improving the site. I mean, how many Yugioh ads can you really run?
Tormented
Unfortunately, the situation is not as simple as just "adding ads"

Tormented
I mean there’s no way to actually add ads that paid ycmaker without him doing it.

But he had him here before, I just took them back down really fast. I'm just hoping he sees this tbh.
Nathanael D. Striker
IIRC, the ads are still technically there. YCMaker just disabled them for registered users. I'm not sure if it's a simple on/off switch though.
