BlackBeartic
There's so much stuff here and my god I feel like I can say even the worst one here has uses. I'll go into detail on the ones I like the most though. Overall i'm thrilled. (Might talk about all of them since i'm happy af now lmao) Circle is exactly what I was looking for, a free searcher for the deck. I've been wanting this literally since I saw the Meer + Falco combo in the anime and apparently konami did too. They just felt like holding out on us til this which I guess is cool. Stalion is a free Sunlight Wolf + Removal so that's great. Can't use non Fire effects the turn you detach though so if you're going into a Link 4 or something for a big push you'll have to be careful.Gazelle is literally Foolish Goods + Foolish Burial together as one (and considering I run both) this is amazing in and of itself.Fowl is a kagetokage. Lovely. It also has the mini Gyokko effect but it doesn't prevent chaining so eh.Spinny is pretty cool, gives you a bit of a boost to run over things. I don't know how many i'd run though.Raccoon is ok i suppose, probably 1 of is fine considering it can add itself back. That and nothing's stopping your opponent from just blowing your SG up with effects.Overall i'm glad konami at least made the deck playable casually at least. Hope to see more good things in the future (I'm assuming this is the last set of "new" cards considering these just kinda exploded onto the org page all at once). Atypical-Abbie
So Salamangreat are the first to get an Xyz, didn't see that one coming, and that's also the first Cyberse Xyz I believe. Anyway, a lot of good stuff here, yet still not too good either, they can spam a lot of monsters right now, I think we are good on that, now we more so need a reason to Reincarnation Link Summon a lot more, since they want that so bad, they seems very "let's just do all the things" right now, I don't mind having access to a lot of different things, but I see why that is an issue for people too. The Highlander
I was kind of wondering if they would get a Synchro as well or would just skip that and get an Xyz. Salamangreat Cycle fixes a lot of their issues, it searches Jack Jaguar (propably the best maindeck monster). Salamangreat Gazelle is completly ridiculous, it is a backup secretery type of monster and immediate sets up Spell/Traps for recycling or creates a plus with either Falco (it fixes Falco being reliant on that crappy Meer to get prepared) to recycle something like Cycle, Jack Jaguar for another Link Material each turn and reycling and so on, it is effectively an archtype specific Armageddon Knight for an archtype with a pseudo Grapha (Falco), Jaguar and does not even consume a Normal Summon.Edit: Spinny is another one that can get special summoned from the deck via Gazelle. The Xyz sounds situational, getting it out sounds inconsistent, though it is effectively free graveyard setup and a free Spell Speed 1 compulsory evacuation device. Actually it appears Gazelle -> Spinny -> the Xyz -> Jaguar -> Sunlight Wolf -> revive Jaguar putting back the Xyz -> Veilynx -> Wolf adds back Gazelle -> Heatlio. So for only Gazelle you get Heatlio, a Spinny ready for the next turn, a Gazelle ready for next turn, a Jaguar ready for next turn, a Veilynx in the Graveyard, a search for Salamangreat Sanctuary and a Spin with the Xyzs effect. (If you want to you can also Reincarnation Xyz Summon either Heatlio or Sunlight Wolf, recycling a potential Salamangreat Cycle). Cycle, Will, Jaguar and Gazelle are definitely going to carry this archtype. All they still need is a Link monster they actually want to end on, noone could seriously say they feel comfortable ending on Heatlio. All of these are at least playable, even the hand trap, given it stops battle destruction for an entire turn, though I would propably rather use the snake handtrap cyberse got in the code talker structure deck.Btw you either Normal Summon Gazelle or use the other monster you Normal Summon for Veilynx and thus allow Gazelle to summon itself, it is definitely their playmaker (pun intended) and the Xyz + Gazelle + Spinny + Cycle should make the deck playable. Edit: If one uses the new Special Summonable Level 4 + any level 4 Salamangreat + Gazelle one can nuke the field with Exciton Knight and then summon Gazelle of the deteached material.Evilswarm Exciton Knight access is always good and they just got that as well.
