Gullveig was in the deck, Alviss was in the mainset. You can actually go second with this and you can get to caspar without needing to hard draw starfire or another caspar, it makes doc alive if he's the only MM you have in your opening hand.Now all they need is a monster negation counter trap. I find amusing how it may discourage the opponent from leaving too many monsters and/or Spell/Traps so you don't gain too many cards from the effect.Grinder Golem comes to mind for attempting to make use of this when going first, but IDK how effective would that be. Not that it hurts to run Akashic and Security Dragon in your ED along Grinder.Their main issue is/was running out of steam too fast, trying to force an opponent into a grind game and then losing the edge in it, this card fixes that and as you mentioned it helps breaking boards by supplying enough of their Spell/Trap cards to deal with it (and has protection via the ones already in one's hand).
