A 5+ material Rhongomyniad is as close to an indestructible boss monster as you can get that also prevents the opponent from Summoning in any form. He becomes reminiscent of the ZEXAL lock of days gone by.

I was aware of this combo through gameplays in Youtube, but didn't think it was remotely competitive. Is it?

Also, I just read the name of Number 75. At first I thought it was a joke edit, but it's actually named "Bamboozling" xD

It's really not that much of a problem. Everytime I've come across this deck I just win in the grind game. You can still set underneath his effect. They blow a lot to make this dude

They can just nuke everything you set assuming they still have 5 materials, and they can have upwards of 7-8 with Bamboozling Gossip Shadow (I've personally run into a 7-material one at locals and that was from Six Samurai). With the right lines of play leading to the Summon of this card I do see this becoming problematic in the not so far future.
