Thomas★Zero
Savage Dino Equip Spell Equip to a Dinosaur monster. Increase the equipped monsters ATK by 500. When the equipped monster destroys a monster as a result of battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monsters ATK. When a Dinosaur monster you control is attacked by an opponents monster while this card is in your GY, you can banish this card from your GY; double your monsters ATK during damage calculation only. You can only activate this effect of "Savage Dino" once per turn. You can only control 1 "Savage Dino". So Savage Dino is a Dinosaur support in the form of a equip spell that first turns your Dino into a beatstick Flame Wingman where if this card is in your graveyard and a dinosaur you control is attacked, you can banish this card to double your monsters ATK during that battle. In Dino Decks this card effectively adds more power to dinosaurs aggressive strategy where this card with Ultimate Conductor Tyranno not only makes it a 4000 ATK monster that can switch monsters to defence and deal a 1000 when attack a defence position monster through its own effect or deal the whole 4000 when it destroys a attack position monster. Darj
Dinos don't really need the extra ATK and Flame Wingman burn. It's the GY effect what I find more interesting, as it discourages the opponent from attacking your Dinos, indirectly keeping them safe from battle. Unless of course, the attacking monster can beat the doubled ATK or has an Armades effect. Really, the card is just as useful as Limiter Removal, Honest, etc. which means it may come in handy as a tech, depending on the format, or if Dinos ever get a floodgate monster they want protected from battle, kind of how Honest Neos backs Dark Law up.
