Kailyn Leona Kyosuke
Shoot I didn't realize I was this behind on my card backlog. My bad.Either way, I'm glad to have you on board Uggla6~ I think Aqua more means that it's effects make some other currently existing cards broken because it offers them synergy or omni protection.Which I interpret as an attempt to praise. Apologies if that came off the wrong way though.
Uggla6
O thank you then. I misunderstood. Projects like these can sometimes be very hard to create balanced archetypes. Now I will take the time to make my comments on previous creations. I do have a curiosity between FTK and FTK - Phantom Cards. Obviously the later all belong to the former, but is there any reason for the difference. Due to the prevalence maybe we could have all the member cards be FTK - Phantom and all the support cards be FTK. That way we can put better effects (and not risk OP combos) on cards designated to just the subgroup. Just a thought, I would have to change my support cards as well. Honestly I'm not going to make too much fuss over the personal cards outside of PSCT/OCG, as those can be special to folks. And that's the fun in this little project. Working all our personal cards into a cohesive archetype.[spoiler=BIG] FTK Phantom - Kailyn KyosukeLv 5 Remnant / Synchro / Effect FIRE 2500 / 20001 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersWhen this card is Synchro Summoned, Special Summon up to as many "FTK Phantom" monsters from your GY as possible. "FTK Phantom" cards you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. When this card declares an attack, all "FTK Phantom" monsters you control gain 200 ATK for each "FTK Phantom" on your field and in your GY.Looks great design-wise. After Synchro Summoned needs a : to designated an activated effect and the requirements of a condition. Same thing for the other effect. Also, did you intend for both your activated effect to be mandatory? And finally if you make them optional effects, then the "when" would force them to miss timing. Was this intentional?Recommendation:If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can Special Summon up to as many "FTK Phantom" monsters from your GY as possible. "FTK Phantom" cards you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. When this card declares an attack: All "FTK Phantom" monsters you control gain 200 ATK for each "FTK Phantom" on your field and in your GY. FTK Phantom Vavel ElreignerLv 7 Voidling / Effect DARK 2500 / 2100You can Special Summoned this card (from your hand) by having exactly 3 monsters with different Types in your GY. This monster's Type is also treated as the original Type of every monster in your graveyard. Once per Turn (Quick Effect): When your Opponent activates a Spell/Trap or Monster effect: Banish one monster from your GY, Negate that Effect and if you do send that card to the GY.Just some PSCT/OCG things. Not sure if you wanted a nomi, but I assumed not so I left it as not one. Also, technically the card negates activation instead of effects now. Minor changes include being able to activate during the damage step, allowing cards that can only be activated (not used) OPT to be reactivated, and cards that respond to an activation no longer trigger (ie. Multifaker).Recommendation:If you have exactly 3 monster with different Types in your GY, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. The Type of this card is also treated as the original Type of every monster in your GY while it is face-up on the field. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 monster from you GY; negate the activation, and if you do, send that card to the GY. FTK Phantom - Aqua Girl Lv 1 Aqua / Ritual / Effect WATER 500/1600 Can be Ritual Summoned with any Ritual Spell card, Ignore card text for this Summon. For each Divine Attribute monster or FTK card used to Ritual Summon this card it gains 1000 Attack. While it really just needed a PSCT/OCG touch up, the mechanic that I interpreted to be used with any ritual spell despite what the card might say needed some help and clarification. I made an effect that tries to accomplish that more in the way a Konami card might go about it, but it would function slightly differently that you have it currently. Just a suggestion as always.Recommendation:You can Ritual Summon this card with any Ritual Spell. If this card is in your hand: You can reveal 1 Ritual Spell, then declare 1 card name listed on it; this card's name in the hand becomes the declared name until the end of the turn. Gains 1000 ATK for each DIVINE and/or "FTK" monster used to Ritual Summon this card. FTK Phantom - DL Spritemaster / Link / Effect DARK 1700 / Link - 2 2 Monsters, including at least 1 Fairy-Type or LIGHT monster This card gains 500 ATK for each monster it points to. While you have 3 or more cards in your hand: This card cannot be targeted by card effects.Clean and decent. I guess it doesn't really have a FTK link, but that's okay it's your personal card and we can build around it. Not sure why the spacing in the card art looks off though. Fixed the summoning requirements (same) and made the not be targeted effect no longer activate as I don't believe it should. Recommendation:2 Monsters, including a Fairy or LIGHT monsterThis card gains 500 ATK for each monster it points to. While you have 3 or more cards in your hand, this card cannot be targeted by card effects. FTK Phantom - The Tinkerer EARTH **** Archanic/Union/Effect When this card is Normal Summoned: you can change this card's battle position, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "FTK" monster from your hand. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "FTK" monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it. The equipped monster gains 200 ATK and DEF for each monster with a different type in your GY, also, if the equipped monster would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead. 1000/2000Clean and a solid Union Monster. Slight OCG touch up. My recommendation replaces the when with if in order to not miss timing. If this was intentional, just leave as is.Recommendation:If this card is Normal Summoned: You can change this card's battle position, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "FTK" monster from your hand. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 "FTK" monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it. The equipped monster gains 200 ATK/DEF for each monster with a different type in your GY, also, if the equipped monster would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead. FTK Phantom - Sakura Link 4 | WIND | Warrior | Link | Effect 2800 W E SW SE 2+ monsters, including a "FTK Phantom" monster① Your opponent cannot target or destroy other "FTK Phantom" monsters you control with cards or effects. ② Once per turn, if your opponent Summons a monster (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 monster this card points to; negate that Summon. ③ If this card destroys an opponent's monster: You can banish 1 card your opponent controls or in their GY, face-down.Very solid and strong Link Monster. You seem to like to use the OCG OCG (that is confusing) of adding bullet points to effects. Recommendation:Same Lv 7 Shadow / Synchro / Effect DARK 2700 / 7001 tuner + 1+ "FTK" non-Tuner monster When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can add 1 Spell/Trap card that lists "FTK" in its text. During each of your End Phases: Declare 1 Monster Type. This card becomes that Type.PSCT/OCG touch up. I'll ask Dova/Sakura to confirm how this effect should be worded, as cards today with similar effects list a specific name (cydra, bewd, dm) not an archetype as a whole. So this is just largely speculation on my behave regarding the 1st effect. Also, change to not missing timing. Leave as is if that was intentional. Recommendation:If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can add 1 Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand, that lists "FTK" in its text. During your End Phase: Declare 1 Type; this card becomes that Type. If this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. If this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "FTK Phantom" Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "FTK Phantom - Dova" once per turn. Destroy this card if you do not control 3 or more monsters with different Types. Once per turn: You can Tribute other monsters from your hand or field, then Ritual Summon 1 Ritual Monster from your hand whose Level exactly equals the total Levels of those monsters.Solid card. I see you truly want to support the Ritual Summon. Looks good and decently hard to summon. Also, it is its own Ritual Spell. Nice. Just Ritual Spell Card>Ritual Spell. I'm not a fan of the removal, but consistency sake I suppose. Recommendation:If this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand. If this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "FTK Phantom" Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "FTK Phantom - Dova" once per turn. Destroy this card if you do not control 3 or more monsters with different Types. Once per turn: You can Tribute other monsters from your hand or field, then Ritual Summon 1 Ritual Monster from your hand whose Level exactly equals the total Levels of those monsters. Field SpellFor every FTK monster with a different Type in the Graveyard FTK monsters you control gain 300 ATK. Once per turn; you can tribute 1 Divine Attribute monster: Special Summon 1 FTK monster from your Hand or Graveyard ignoring that monsters Summoning conditions. Ritual monsters Summoned by this Effect are treated as if they were Ritual Summoned. Some PSCT/OCG issues. Also, we have a nomi with an alternate win condition. We cannot be having easy SS ignoring summoning conditions. One has to go. My recommendation is to remove the ignoring summoning conditions on the field spell. I know it will stop the ability to Ritual Summon from the grave, but we have Dova's monsters and we can do better. My recommendation is to change the SS a little and make it easier (discard instead of tribute). Also, then this card would need a HOPT. Also, the card image says Spell instead of Field Spell. Recommendation:"FTK" monsters you control gain 300 ATK for each "FTK" monster in your GY with a different original Type. Once per turn: You can discard 1 monster; Special Summon 1 "FTK" monster from you hand or GY with a different original Type than the monster discarded. You can only activate 1 "A Prison No More!" per turn. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 12 monsters with different Types from either players GY's. This cards Special Summon cannot be negated. This card cannot be destroyed by Battle or Card Effect. 3 turns after this card is played you win the match.Ummm. Well see this is an alternate win condition and while I have no problems with them if they are balance, this card needs a bit of help. I'm realizing that this card doesn't have the FTK name so the above comments about the Field Spell enabling this card are wrong, but I still stand by my recommendation above. So some PSCT/OCG changes, but I took the liberty to make a lot of suggestions. First being, you can summon this using your opponent's grave? Should just be your own. Match win effect should activate. Like Final Countdown, it creates a condition upon resolving that ensures victory in time, but the initial activation should be negatable. 3 turns would include your opponent's and the turn you activate it. Meaning you win before you even have the chance to your next draw phase. Just changed it to the 2nd standby phase. That's 5 total turns, but probably more akin to a reasonable amount of time. It's not like he has to remain on the field to win the game. You just have to summon him (which can't be negated) and resolve his on summon effect. Recommendation:Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 12 monsters from your GY with different original Types. This card's Special Summon cannot be negated. If this card is Special Summoned: During your second Standby Phase after you activate this effect, you win the Duel. This card cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. Banish 1 "FTK Phnatom" monster you control. Special Summon 1 "FTK Phantom - Vavel Elreigner" from your Deck, or GY. If you control "FTK Phantom - Vavel Elreigner", except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card and 1 "FTK Phantom" monster from your GY, then Special Summon 1 Level 7 or lower "FTK" monster from your Deck. You can only use each effect of “Soul of Darkness Unleashed” once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except "FTK Phantom" monsters, the turn you activate either of this card's effects.I like the rework and the balancing you have since added to the card. Clean and good. Just changed the wording a bit to cut done on some of the length. It does change 2 things. 1: If you have 1 set and 1 in gy you can no longer activate both during the same turn (although both effects are quick effects so using one during the next turn would be fairly easy), and 2: if you/your opponent send this card to the gy without activating it, you can activate this cards 2nd effect that turn. Making Foolish Burial Goods a nice SS from deck (although you need another FTK in gy first). Recommendation:Banish 1 "FTK Phantom" monster you control; Special Summon 1 "FTK Phantom - Vavel Elreigner" from your Deck, or GY. If you control "FTK Phantom - Vavel Elreigner": You can banish this card and 1 "FTK Phantom" monster from your GY, then Special Summon 1 Level 7 or lower "FTK" monster from your Deck. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except "FTK Phantom" monsters, the turn you activate either of this card's effects. You can only use 1 "Soul of Darkness Unleashed" effect per turn, and only once that turn. Rank 7, Dark, Voidling / Effect Type, ATK 3000, DEF 2600 3 Level 7 Voidling-Type and/or "FTK Phantom" MonstersOnce per turn, (Quick Effect): When a Spell/Trap or Monster Effect is activated: You can negate that effect, and if you do, attach that card to this card as Xyz Material. You can detach 2 Xyz Material from this card; Banish all other monsters with ATK less than or equal to this monster's ATK. You cannot Special Summon the turn you activate this effect. When this card leaves the Field; Special Summon 1Level 7 Voidling-Type or "FTK Phantom" Monster from your GY.Um I think this needs some balancing. These are my suggestions. The negate is a negate and destroy and has a cost (detach material). This card is too easy to summon with no materials to have that. It retains its absorbing effect, but modified into another effect. It doesn't banish the whole field and it targets. But it is no destruction removal, feeds the materials that you wanted and with 3000 atk that clause is essentially worthless. The float effect was tampered done a bit to prevent like link OTK. It would just be link, SS, link, etc. Now it is effectively a HOPT and is more of a float effect rather than a combo piece in an OTK. These are just my suggestions, but there are many ways to balance a card. Recommendation:3 Level 7 "FTK Phantom" and/or Voidling MonstersOnce per turn, when a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; negate that effect, and if you do, destroy it. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls with less ATK than this card; attach it to this card as material. If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can target 1 Level 7 "FTK Phantom" or Voidling monster from your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position, also you cannot Special Summon for the rest of the turn. If the equipped monster is an "FTK" monster; it gains 800 ATK. If the equipped monster has the same type as a monster in your GY: you can send this card and the equipped monster to the GY; draw 2 cards. To much generic draw power. Just going to limit it to be archetype specific. Recommendation:Equip only to a "FTK" monster. It gains 800 ATK. If you control the equipped monster and this card: You can send both to the GY; draw 2 cards. FTK Hunter - Lord MaverickEARTH 7*Warrior/EffectThis card can be Tribute Summoned with 1 Tribute if all monsters in your GY (min. 2) are the same type. This card gains 200 ATK for each different monster type in your opponent's GY. Once per turn (Quick Effect): you can make your opponent send 2 monsters from their hand, side of the field or Deck to the GY, and if you do, your opponent cannot activate the effects of monsters in their GY until their next End Phase. Banish this card if it leaves the field.2000/2000I like it, slight adjustments. Recommendation:If all monsters in your GY (min. 2) are the same Type, this card can be Tribute Summoned with 1 Tribute. This card gains 200 ATK for each monster in your opponent's GY with a different original Type. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can make your opponent send 2 monsters (of their choice) from their hand, side of the field or Deck to the GY, and if you do, your opponent cannot activate the effects of monsters in their GY until their next End Phase. Banish this card if it leaves the field. Send 1 "FTK Phantom" monster from your Deck to the GY. When a monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field with the same Type as a "FTK Phantom" monster in your GY: That monster cannot attack or activate its effects this turn. When this card leaves the field, send the top 3 cards from your Deck to the GY and Draw 2 Cards.First effect needs an OPT. 2nd effect probably shouldn't activate. Otherwise on summon effects will dodge, as well as, other quick effects. This continuous effect now will provide more protect, however, this also means that if this card leaves the field, that monster somehow changes its type, or the monster in your gy leaves the gy, then the effect and attacks would be valid again. Finally that last effect would be stupid splashable. Lightsworn and True Draco would love this card and abuse it. Lowering the mill and draw help, but also requiring your opponent to have a part in it removal will prevent most of it's abuse. Ultimately though it's a 3 of archetypal foolish burial EVERY turn with an added bonus on removal and a floodgate effect. Still looks like a very powerful card to me even with the nerf. RecommendationOnce per turn: You can send 1 "FTK Phantom" monster from your Deck to the GY. While a face-up monster your opponent controls is the same Type as a "FTK Phantom" monster in your GY, negate its effects and it cannot attack during the turn that monster was Summoned. If this card leaves the field by an opponent's card effect: Send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the GY, then draw 1 card. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "FTK" monster from your hand. You can discard this card from you hand; decrease the Level of 1 monster on the field by up to 2. You can only activate this effect of "FTK Phantom - Arcana" once per turn.I really really like this tuner. So I actually think it can use a buff. Removed the missed timing. Made it trigger on any summoned (not just normal). Made the cost of the level change to target and then made it send to gy. This means that if it is negated you didn't have to discard, but results in the same thing occurring. The HOPT was added to both effects. Recommendation:If this card is Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "FTK" monster from your hand. You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; Send this card from your hand to the GY, and if you do, decrease the Level of that target by up to 2. You can only activate each effect of "FTK Phantom - Arcana" once per turn. AND HOLY CRAP I AM DONE REVIEWING. That was a long process. Hopefully I didn't offend any of you. I believe a lot of these card designs were good and/or were headed in a good direction. This was just a little nudge in what I believe is the right direction. Ultimately, it's not up to me what you guys do with your cards, but I believe these changes could help our archetype be better. Looking forward to continuing the creative process with you all. And by all means if you have comments about my cards/my comments then please feel free to share them.
Uggla6
Ya I guess broken was the word that I feared, I don't want to make a broken archetype. A powerful and synergized one, yes but OP or broken...nah
Vavel_Elreigner
I really do enjoy all the help i get on this thread, its very fun and entertaining to see how these cards get fleshed out. I do quite enjoy the though of making an archetype deck that can be played in multiple styles too.

Kailyn Leona Kyosuke
Looks great design-wise. When this card declares an attack: All "FTK Phantom" monsters you control gain 200 ATK for each "FTK Phantom" on your field and in your GY. Thanks :D I always wind up goofing that, thanks for catching it. I did intend for them to be mandatory - but was hoping to not create a missed timing OCG. I'll have to edit them. The idea behind it is that the card is strong in aspects it should be, but like any mandatory effect they must be worked around, for better and worse. I really appreciate your review on all the cards thus far. I hadn't had the energy to do so myself, but you're pretty spot on~ Also I agree with the bit about FTK Phantoms being the monsters, but FTK being the only archetypal part of the name for the support. I have a set in Casual Multiples called Einherjar Heroes that follow the same concept. Also every card spoiler tag has a new headline. Check em out in the OP. Dova, the effect I tried to apply to yours broke the edits and I had to start over. Whoops.
The Nyx Avatar
I messed up with Nyx and forgot to specify Deck. I now have a corrected version. I also made two Normal Spell Cards and a Ritual Spell Card. [spoiler=Show Monster Cards] This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "FTK" Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal or exceed the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. You can banish this card from your GY and 1 Level/Rank 7 or higher monster from your field or GY (except during the turn it was sent); Special Summon 1 Ritual Monster from your GY, but its effects are negated. Banish 3 cards from your GY. Until the 3rd End Phase after this card's activation, "FTK" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. You can banish this card from your GY (except during the turn it was sent); add 1 "FTK" Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate 1 of the effects of "Moonless Gown" once per turn. Banish 1 "FTK" monster from your GY. Monsters your opponent controls lose ATK equal to the ATK of the banished monster. Uggla6
Thank you for accepting me and updating the front page. Look forward to working on this. For some reason my new image was never attached to my post, so it has the old incorrect text that doesn't match with the written text. Typos happen. Sorry.Well it would seem that many of my fellow friends have made their way over here. I usually prefer going with Konami types for my creations, but what the heck. If Wyrms and Cyberse has taught us anything, it that Types can expand. Human, Angel, Vampire (although it maybe a little too late for this one), etc. There are many Types that are missing. Nevertheless, Nyz came up with a perfect example of a Type that should probably be a thing and so I went ahead and created another card for the new type. It's a personal card (since that's the vibe I've been gathering from others here), so I didn't really make it synergize with the archetype, but I might make some support cards to help out. Looking forward to see what everyone comes up with. So without further adieu[spoiler=Uggla6] FTK Phantom – UgglaRank 3 | Shadow / Xyz / Effect | DARK 0 / 02 Level 3 monstersYour opponent's monsters cannot target this card for attacks. But you didn't mention the broken goddess of lewd. You hear that kail she's not as broke as you think. >:DYes it totally was, but I hope it helps. Vavel_Elreigner
Sorry guys, I've been busy with work and now i'm sick, I've made other cards but for now I'm putting up one. I still have to do my updates for my older cards but for now here you go. FTK Phantom Lady Mooncrest 2 Level 4 "FTK Phantom" monstersOnce per turn, You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 "Mooncrest Vessel Token" (Voidling-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 700/DEF 0). While you control a "Mooncrest Vessel Token", your opponent cannot target this card for attacks. This card gains 400 ATK for each "Mooncrest Vessel Token" you control. Kailyn Leona Kyosuke
Just a little, former leader. Welcome back~!Would you mind copypasta the card's text lore so I can quick add it to the base post? Vavel your card is pretty good for generating additional resources, specifically for breaking even. It looks like a combo piece tho, not the start or big finish.Token effect is a little pointless if it's used for link or synchro material, or just gets attacked. Solid otherwise. Spirit of DMG
“3 Level 6 monstersIf this card is Xyz Summoned using “Dark Magician Girl” as any of its materials, all other monsters on the field are returned to their owner’s decks. This card gains 300 ATK for each Xyz material sent to the graveyard by this effect. Once per turn: you can detach 1 material from this card. This card gains 1000 ATK for each monster in your graveyard that includes “Dark Magician” in its card name until the end phase, but this card cannot attack directly this turn.“There you go, Kailyn. If Summoned by this effect, return all Spell/Trap cards in this card's column to its owner's hand. If a face-up card was returned to the hand by this effect, neither player can activate cards with the same name as the returned card(s) for the rest of the turn.800/1000 ("Aero" type would be an elemental type equivalent to Rock for EARTH, Pyro for FIRE or Aqua for WATER)
