Dokutah
A new Quick-Play Spell for Cyber Angel Decks is confirmed via the commercial. 荘厳なる機械天使 Sougon-naru Kikai Tenshi (Majestic Machine Angel)Quick-Play Spell Card(Unconfirmed) You can only activate 1 card with this card’s name per turn.(1) Tribute 1 “Cyber Angel” Ritual Monster from your hand or field, then target 1 LIGHT Fairy monster you control; it gains X00 ATK/DEF x the Level of the Tributed monster, also if it battles a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, negate the effects of that opponent’s monster during the Battle Phase. (GigaDrillBreaker)
so... Triggers ben 10, gives something 600 atk, and negates effects a little bit. This is pretty awful, yeah? I mean it enables the best card in the deck, but so does the entire summon mechanic so who cares?
Black D'Sceptyr
so... Triggers ben 10, gives something 600 atk, and negates effects a little bit. This is pretty awful, yeah? I mean it enables the best card in the deck, but so does the entire summon mechanic so who cares? I'd say that it being able to do so in quicker fashion, even if you don't have the corresponding Ritual Spell/Monster combo because wow are Cyber Angels not down with Pre-Prep-is the point. Quick-Playing out a way to get past ED threats is always welcomes, 'specially in the age of Extra Linking, and Izuna/Vrash combined with this can mop up a field like nobody's business. Not necessarily saying Cyber Angel support's on the up-and-up-in fact, it's because of how middling the other support is that this stands out as such a...decent card(?), but this is clearly made to give Turn 2 Cyber Angels a way to break boards within-Archetype. Think it can warrant a 7.2/10, myself. Especially considering one of my main gripes with the Star Seraph variant is running off steam from being able to only trigger Benten once in the Summon of, say, Herald of Perfection, since, again....non-Pre-Prep capacity hurts this Deck so much. vla1ne
If it wasn't a quick play, it'd be garbage. As a quick play, it means even your manju can likely run over big ass monsters. in addition, if you're running vrash, and drop an idaten to boost it, you get massive boosts for a surprise kill.
