Black D'Sceptyr
wow was that a terribad subhead I should have just left it blank but then again, considering what my new dragon here does.... [spoiler=Dragoness the Wicked Hybrid: Info]WIND/Dragon-Type Effect Monster/Level 3/1200 ATK/900 DEF Lore: During the turn this card was Summoned, you can Normal Summon 1 Level 5 or higher Dragon monster without Tributing. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 Dragon monster you control; it gains this effect. You can only use this effect of "Dragoness the Wicked Hybrid" once per turn.• Once per turn: You can pay 1200 LP; Normal Summon 1 Dragon monster from your hand as an additional Normal Summon. ...maybe an introduction by pain is the best compliment to this card! But really folks, this allows for more and better Dragon Normal Summons, and we really can't go wrong there, can we? 'specially with Ravine and Shrine to put this in the GY. I may put up another card to go with this, but the 10 nights of Fright begin tomorrow, and I really must be prompt with the distribution of them this year. Till then, reviews, revelry, you know the drill. BD'S, signing off.
Darj
Flavor-wise I'm puzzled by this card. I see you reference Dragoness the Wicked Knight, but instead this is a maindeck monster, Dragon-type, and the name doesn't really work for me. Like, calling her an hybrid? huh? How is she related to the Dragoness Fusion, anyway? Moving on to the effect, it looks good. Dragons ought to welcome more summoning power. What I'm not sure is if it breaks anything because I see Dragon as a sleeper type that can come back at any given moment, be it through new cards, and/or banlist changes. For instance, they appear to be resurfacing with Guardragons. Thus, this card could make an impact that is stronger than intended.

I know, yes-originally, I was planning on releasing a card called Wyvern Manipulator, a retrain of Dragon Manipulator that more trended toward trying to break the Dragon type and "Dragon" Spell/Trap cards. Felt it a bit too exclusive, plus I wanted to try my hand at some less wordy effects lol But yeah, I did go a bit off-radar with this new Dragoness....I was originally trying to bring in mind that a card called Dragoness had no relation to dragons, having a main-deck counterpart that was-trying to hopefully summon some inspiration to continue the line from one entity to the other. I still may, but it'll have to wait until AFTER Halloween tho. Do appreciate your words on the effect tho-that does seem to be a sweet spot for me, begin interesting without being utterly gamebreaking.
