~~~~ Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 Oh god those Link Monsters are nutty. Let dragons take their rightful place once more! Also Tempest !!!! in the OCG Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tinkerer Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 It's... actually really surprising to me how little support there is for low level Dragon monsters. No easy way to search 'em, dump 'em, recover 'em, etc. Welp... damn. ANYways, Dragons got their own Icarus Attack. Never thought I'd see the day. Anyone else think the crater in the pic looks a little like the Ice Barrier symbol? Field Spell in Blue-Eyes? Prolly not, but that deck would probably use it better than this one. The Links are hilarious but the MD is underwhelming. Wonder how people are gonna use the Link-2? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
XenoPhobia Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 Why the heck Elpy is DARK? Based on the art, it should be LIGHT... Also, am I imagining things, or does Andrake's effect means that it could actually turn into a 4K beatstick? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ryusei the Morning Star Posted October 11, 2018 Author Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 In OCG this deck will basically be a LaDD control build. You can get advantage off cards like Lev, REDMD, and Tempest. It's super easy to search Destrudo and the deck can make a wide range of Dragon Synchros. Trish seems to be the best one. And Rejuv+LaDD seals off the hand traps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Blake Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 Damn. Imduk got funked up. It's also neat that World Chalice Guardragon is part of this deck, even if it feels like the World Legacy continuous trap is the only reason to play this deck... There's definitely combos to be had, especially since you can sheet REDMD out of deck for 2 card combos. Then revive it. Then summon a big dude from ED EDIT: oh yeah dark matter still exists and you can just summon a GE Xyz before going into it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ryusei the Morning Star Posted October 11, 2018 Author Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 ye, i had put that in as an edit at the same time you posted this lol DMD is probably the best thing you can do early.I still think this deck should go for turn one Light and Darkness, it can do it easily enough with Tempest and wyvern. And that will almost certainly buy a turn against most decks. And if LaDD dies these shits get effects off being revived from the grave. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~ P O L A R I S ~ Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 Agarpain is really good. Locks you into Dragons but you can make it after using some non-Dragons. Cool negates to get off of Agarpain include Hope Harbinger, Crystal Wing, and especially Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss (probably the coolest of the negates). Probably some nasty boards to be made. Tinkerer Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 It doesn't yet, these cards let you tool out the good dragons rapidly. Namely the dragon synchro arsenal, REDMD, Tempest, and Wyvern Yeah but... you still need the startup to get anywhere, right? You'd need 3 low level dragons (or 2 + the continuous spell) plus a means of moving your Links around (or, again, the continuous spell). The payoff is powerful, but I don't see a consistent way of it working out yet (at least not without devoting more of your Deck to this than your other tools). ...alternatively, Konami could be making more low level Dragon support as we speak and this sentiment will be outdated in a few more days. The Highlander Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 Nice ... Rocket support. Especially with Guardragon of the World Legacy.These are completely generic and the Link monsters allow tutoring out Link Materials, as well as getting out a "free" Borrel Link 4 monster, while the 2 used Links (for the double arrows) supply the materials for a second Borrel Link 4. Premier Alexander Romanov Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 I came up with this starting series of plays.1. Have a LV1 Dragon and the Continuous Spell.2. Summon the LV1 Dragon.3. Go for Linkuriboh.4. Activate the Continuous Spell, bringing back the LV1 Dragon.5. Go for Elpi, then move Elpi to the right of Linkuriboh.6. Use Elpi to get Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from Deck.7. Use REDMD to SS the LV1 Dragon from the GY.8. Use all 4 for a Borrel or Saryuja. vla1ne Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 Seeing as i run buster bladers, i can't wait for this deck to try and become meta. on a serious not though, the dragonic icarus attack is going to make dragon decks that much more difficult to deal with. the field spell, and quite a few of the monsters would fit pretty well in heiratic builds as well. Atypical-Abbie Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 Interesting stuff here, Normal Monsters and Dragons are once again doing stuff, I take it that you want to combine these with other Archetypes, much like how many other World Legacy works, so that could help a lot here. Left and Right pointers are unique, using them could be awkward, but the Continous Spell can help that out. Dunno about the design and such, can't tell from mobile. Thomas★Zero Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 Looking at this regarding the fact this is Dragons that work with Normal Monsters you could put stull like Alexandrite Dragon and Galaxy Serpent in as they would give you a 2000 ATK Level 4 and a Second Level 2 Tuner in order to support the deck.
