[spoiler= BackStory] The Crimson Deulist is the deulist to beat in Garutown. The rank of the Crimson Deulist is the most prestigious honor any deulist could get. Only the best of the best may duel the current CD. It just so happens that Nexus and Kye are on their way to become the best of the best, but they each want to become the Crimson Duelist for different reasons. Who will succeed? You will have to read!

Deck Style: Cloudian, but with two original cards

Cloudian Nacreous: Water Aqua 1/0/0 Effect: If this card is in face up defense mode, destroy it. When this card is destroyed as a result of battle, distribute "Fog Counters" equal to the amount of cards on the field and in each players hand.

Cloudian Bermuda (name possibly subject to change)

Water Aqua 10/3400/1000 This card cannot be normal summoned or set, this card can only be special summoned by sacrificing five "Cloudian" monsters. A monster destroyed by this card as a result of battle and sent to the graveyard cannot be removed from the graveyard. Monsters with "Fog Counters" lose 400 attack and defense for each "Fog Counter" on that monster as long as this card remains face up on the field.

 

Signature Card: Cloudian Nimbusman

 

Attitude: He is, as his cards would suggest, a bit of a dreamer. He wants to become a crimson duelist mainly because he enjoys being noticed, and wants to make his dreams a reality... Most of the time he is laid back and enjoys relaxing, but he can become serious when the need arises. But 'the need arises' is mainly when someone is in extreme danger. Insulting his friends or himself alone would not do it.

 

Appearance: He is about 16. His favorite outfit is a sky blue shirt with a midnight blue stripe running down the middle and jeans, but he doesn't care too much about what he wears. He has Green eyes, and light blonde hair that is short and spiky. he has the beginning of a dark colored beard, but no mustache.

Characters name: Anthro Ommatto

Deck Style: Changes after every duel, thus why he's always carrying a backpack. its full of many rare cards.

Additude: Very calm. nearly never talks. is very confident in every deck he builds, though never shows it.

Announcer: What a duel this has been!

 

*In the Final's of a local tournament, Kye is facing Nexus. Kye is at 1000 LP, While Nexus is at 1500. Kye has a face-down card in the Magic/Trap zone.*

 

Nexus: My turn, and I play from my hand "Digital Heroes, Unite!"

 

Kye: Crap...

 

Nexus: I take it you know what it does then?

 

Kye: Yes, Nex, you use it in every duel we have...

 

Nexus: Well i'll still explain what it does, just in case none of these

spectators know what it does. This card allows me to draw 3 cards, and if any of them is a "Digital Hero" card, I am allowed to summon the one with the lowest level!

 

*Nexus draws and smiles*

 

Nexus: And whad'ya know, I drew one! GO DIGITAL HERO NIAKU!! (1 Star, Atk - ??? Def - 0)

 

Kye: Oh boy...

 

Nexus: Get ready to lose, as this card gains 500 Attack or every "Digital Hero" in my graveyard, and as i count, i have 5!

 

Kye: Thats 2500!!

 

Nexus: Thats right, so Digital Hero Niaku, ATTACK!

 

Kye: Not so fast!

 

Nexus: What!?

 

Kye: I Activate my trap card, Standoff! It destroys any attacking monster, and ends your battle phase

 

Nexus: Grr... I end my turn...

 

Kye: And I draw!

 

*Kye smiles a little and looks up at Nexus*

 

Kye: This was a good duel, but I have to end it. I Summon "Dark Guardian Gunner"! (4 Star, Atk - 2000 Def - 100)

 

Nexus: No!

 

Kye: Oh, yes! Now, Gunner, Attack him directly!

Kye LP: 1000

Nexus LP: 0

 

Announcer: And your winner, Kye!

 

Kye: Great duel, Nex!

 

Nexus: Yeah sure...

 

*Nexus walks off without saying a word, while Kye is awarded a prize card*

 

Kye: No way!

 

*Kye is handed a "Warrior Of Virmire LV10"*

 

Kye: This is the one i needed! I gotta put this in my deck!

 

*Kye puts the WOVLV10 into his deck, on top of his WOVLV7. He smiles at the limited edition card, closes the deck box, and stands triumphantly on the winners podium*[/align]

*Kye is walking down the street, eager to duel ater his tourney win. he stumbles into a crowd of people, and is curious as to what they are grouped around. he walks up to a random bystander.*

 

Kye: Hey, names Kye.

 

Citizen: Kye Marliss?

 

Kye: Yeah, thats me.

 

Citizen: Dude, no way! Names Henry! that win today? Pure awesomeness, can I get your autograph?

 

Kye: Sure?

 

*Henry hands Kye a piece of paper and a marker*

 

Kye: So, you know why everyones all grouped up?

 

Henry: The Crimson Duelist Anthro is over there dueling some chump named Zack.

 

*The words Crimson Duelist catch Kye's attention. Kye quickly scribbles his name on the paper, hands it to Henry, and walks further into the center of the crowd. He makes it in time to watch the ending to the match*

 

Anthro's LP: 8000

Zack's LP: 2000

 

*Zack has a Face-Up Attack Position "Cloudian Bermuda" (ATK - 3400, DEF - 1000)*

 

Anthro: ...So I use Polymerization to create "Cyber End Dragon" (ATK - 4000, DEF - 2800)!

 

*Henry catches up to Kye in the crowd*

 

Henry: Zack's gonna lose, big time.

 

*Kye wont take his eyes off the duel*

 

Anthro: ... Next I play Limiter Removal, so my Cyber End Dragon is up to 8000 attack! Now, Cyber End Dragon Attack his Cloudian Bermuda!

 

Anthro's LP: 8000

Zack's LP: 0

 

*The crowd quickly disperses, as Anthro throws his deck into his backpack, which is full of cards.*

 

Henry: They say he changes his deck after every duel, so no one can strategize against him.

 

Kye: Yeah, cool, gotta go!

 

*Kye runs off torwards Anthro, and leaves Henry behind.*

 

Henry: Nice meeting you!

 

*Kye catches up to Anthro, just as he's putting on his backpack*

 

Kye: Hey, Names Kye!

 

Anthro: Anthro..

 

*The two shake hands*

 

Kye: Dude, I saw that duel. that was freakin' insane!

 

Anthro: No, you saw the ending to the duel, and you came up to me to say thats a great duel, and sooner or later, you wouldve segue'd into "If we ever dueled, i bet it would be a really great one." I'm sure it would be a great duel, but the answer is no. I have no deck right now, and you have to earn the right to duel me. Trust me, youll get the duel sooner or later...

 

*Anthro swings his backpack on and starts to walk off*

 

Anthro: ... And I'm looking forward to it...

 

*Kye smiles a bit, knowing that Anthro must've seen him win the tourney. Kye walks off the other way, down the street to the park.[/align]

*Kye is walking in the park, still wanting to duel, when he sees Zack, the guy who was dueling Anthro*

 

Kye: Yo! Zack!

 

Zack: How do you know my name?

 

Kye: Guy in the crowd of your duel today told me.

 

Zack: The duel?

 

Kye: Anthro.

 

Zack: Oh, that duel.

 

Kye: Yeah, THAT one.

 

Zack: Wait, Arent you Kye?

 

Kye: Yup!

 

Zack: You won that tourney today.

 

Kye: Why, Yes I did!

 

Zack: Can I see the card you won. Curious is all.

 

Kye: I guess?

 

*Kye opens his deck box, showing his Warrior of Virmire LV10*

 

Zack: Ill duel you for it.

 

Kye:*Shocked* Huh!?

 

Zack: I Said I'll duel you for it!

 

Kye: Hmmm... What do i get if I win?

 

Zack: My Cloudian Bermuda?

 

*Zack shows him the card*

 

Kye: Deal!

 

Zack: Great! Get ready to lose!

 

Kye: Correction! I think you meant to say "Im getting ready to lose!"

 

Zack: Oh, you made a funny! Get serious, its duel time!

 

*The two shuffle their decks, put them in their duel disk, And draw 5 cards.

 

Kye: I'll go first! I draw, and I play...

[align=center]Chapter 4: Zack Vs. Kye Part 1

 

Kye: I Draw, and I summon Warrior of Virmire LV3!

 

Zack: Lucky draw, your not going to get another draw like that.

 

Kye: You might be right! For now, I place a face-down card and end my turn.

 

*Zack draws and smiles a bit*

 

Kye: He must've gotten a really good card, or he's bluffing. I just hope its the latter!

 

Zack: I play Cloudian - Smoke Ball!

 

Kye: ... BWAWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! What's that thing going to do?

 

Zack: Alot, when I play Calm Before The Storm!

 

Kye: Whats that do?

 

Zack: It allows me to draw 3 cards, then summon any Level 2 or lower Cloudians to the field! And as i count, i have 4 more in my hand. talk about a lucky draw!

 

*Zack summons 2 more Cloudian - Smoke balls and 2 Cloudian - Sheep Clouds*

 

Zack: I place a face down card and end my turn.

 

Kye: I Draw an-

 

Zack: I play my face down card! Wall of Revealing Light! I give 3000 of my life points, so nothing under 3000 can attack!

 

Kye: I Need my Warrior of Virmire LV10 now! That's the only thing that could stand a chance of getting through that wall! Back to my turn now?

 

Zack: Go right ahead!

 

Kye: First, I Sacrifice my Warrior of Virmire LV3, for his Stronger LV5 counterpart. Go, Warrior of Virmire LV5! I Dont know what your planning, but if your going to summon a High attack monster, your going to have to wait. Go Swords of Revealing Light! And since the LV5 was a special summon, i'll also summon Dark Guardian - Cyber Spyder! End turn.

 

Zack's LP: 5000

Kye's LP: 8000

 

Zack: Well, Kye, you thought right. I Sacrifice my 5 Cloudians to summon Cloudian - Bermuda. Kye, you best get a good defense up, because in only 2 more turns, my Bermuda will obliterate your monsters, and because of his effect, you wont be able to bring them back from the graveyard. This is where I end my turn.

 

Kye: I Need a miracle to beat that thing! C'mon cards, gimme something to work with! I Draw, And my Warrior of Virmire levels up, to Warrior of Virmire LV7. I Have no monsters at the moment, so go.

 

Zack: I Draw. Get ready Kye, as this is the beginning of the end for you. I play the spell card Mystical Space Typhoon. Your Swords of Revealing Light are no longer! Go, Bermuda, Attack his Cyber Spyder! Its only a short amount of time before you lose, and you cant attack my Bermuda! Theres no way for you to win!

 

Zack's LP: 5000

Kye's LP: 6400

 

Kye: Im actually afraid he might be right... I Draw. Warrior Of Virmire LV7, youve stayed your welcome. Zack, get ready for my most powerful card, Warrior Of Virmire LV10!

 

Zack: That monster cant do anything! Your just delaying the loss of your prized card!

[align=center]Chapter 5: Zack Vs. Kye Part 2

 

Kye: I've got to think of something, and fast! That Bermuda is stronger than my Warrior... Wait a second...

 

*Kye looks at his Hand. He realizes he needs one card to defeat Bermuda and Zack, and it happens to be his face down card!*

 

Kye: Hold up one second Zack! I'm not delaying a thing! I'm going to destroy your Bermuda and the rest of your life point's in one turn!

 

Zack: Try it! Your Warrior cant get past my Wall! It's only 3000 Attack!

 

Kye: Not when I play my Face-down! Go, "MegaMorph"!

 

Zack: Hah! All you did is reduce your Warriors attack to 1500!

 

Kye: Dont be so sure, Zack! Next I play my own "Wall of Revealing Light", And I pay 4000 of my own Life Points! Bringing me down to 2400 Life Points raises my Warrior's attack to 6000!

 

Zack: Even so, with that amount of attack, you cant take out my Bermuda AND my Life Points!

 

Kye: Maybe not right now, but I'll be able to after I play "DNA Surgery", Making my Warrior of Virmire a Machine-Type monster. I'll then play "Limiter Removal", which doubles the Attack of any Machine-Types on the field, Bringing my Warrior up to 16000!

 

Zack: No...

 

Kye: Now go, Warrior of Virmire, Obliterate his Life Points and end this duel!

 

*The Warrior does as he is commanded, and races forward. The Wall suddenly breaks and crashes down. The Cloudian is destroyed into mist and flies in different directions. Then, with one giant slash, the duel is over. Zack falls to his knees. He has lost.*

 

Zack's LP: 0

Kye's LP: 2400

 

*Kye walks over to Zack, still on his knees in shock*

 

Kye: You OK?

 

Zack: Yeah... I'm alright.

 

*Zack stands up slowly and smiles and Kye*

 

Zack: That was probably the best duel I've ever had. Here, you deserve this.

 

*Zack holds up his Cloudian Bermuda to Kye. Kye puts his hand over the card, and pushes it back down*

 

Kye: Keep it.

 

Zack: Huh?

 

Kye: Keep it, I can tell you have a strong connection with that card, i'd never take away something like that. Besides, what am I gonna do with that in a Dark Guardian deck?

 

Zack: ...Well, I dont wanna let you go empty handed... I got it! Here, take this.

 

*Zack takes Kye's hand and places a plastic red teardrop button in his hand*

 

Kye: Whats this?

 

Zack: A Crimson Teardrop. When you get 3 of these, you get to duel Anthro.

 

Kye: *Shocked* ANTHRO!?

 

Zack: Yup, THE Anthro.

 

Kye: Thanks!

 

*The two shake hands*

 

Zack: Well, What are you waiting for? Go get two more!

 

Kye: I'll get on that!

 

*Kye runs off, Eager to get the last two Crimson Teardrops,while Zack walks the oppisite way, Smiling at the duel that they had just had*[/align]

[align=center] Chapter 6: Tears Dont Fall

 

 

*Nexus is walking down the street, dissapointed that he lost at the tournement. He walks for quite a bit until Kai Winters stops him.*

 

Kai: Hey, You're that Nexus fella, aren't you!

 

Nexus: Yeah, I happen to be "That Nexus Fella", Whats it to ya?

 

Kai: Well, I saw that Duel at the tourney today, and I must say, you are one mediocre duelist!

 

Nexus: What?!

 

Kai: I mean, wow, even I could've seen that "Standoff" coming from a mile away, How would you not catch that!

 

*Nexus grabs Kai by the neck of his shirt and holds up a fist*

 

Nexus: YOU WANNA KEEP TALKING!?

 

*Kai seperates himself from Nexus, and brushes his shoulders off*

 

Kai: Actually, no. I dont want to keep talking. I wish to duel you.

 

Nexus: What? No, I dont feel like dueling right now...

 

Kai: Oh, Well thats too bad. I'm going to have to walk around and find a new Opponent, Worthy of the Crimson Teardrop thats weighing down my pocket...

 

*Nexus' eyes open wide, and look straight at Kai*

 

Nexus: Get your game face on, Get ready to Duel!

 

Kai: Took you long enough!

Nexus: I draw, And I play Digital Hero - Byte! Next, I play Digital Heroes, Unite!, Allowing me to draw 3 cards, and summon any "Digital Hero" Monster with a level of 4 or lower from my hand, so I summon Digital Hero - Kamen! I'll end my turn. How's that for a first turn.

 

Kai: Dont get too cocky, your not the only one with a good first turn. Since you have monsters on your side of the field and I dont, I Special Summon Cyber Dragon! Also, since that was a Special Summon, I can Normal Summon Armed Dragon Lv3

 

Nexus: My turn yet?

 

Kai: Nope! Next I play the Spell card Level Up!, Sacrificing my Level 3 Armed Dragon for Armed Dragon Lv5! Now, Cyber Dragon, Attack his Digital Hero - Kamen, and Armed Dragon, Attack his Digital Hero - Byte!

 

*Both Dragons shoot huge laser beams from their mouths, both aimed at a different Digital Hero. When the smoke is cleared, Nexus is on the ground from the impact of the blasts, with no monsters on the field. Nexus gets up and brushes himself off.*

 

Kai's LP: 8000

Nexus' LP: 6900

Signature Card- Rare Metalmorph

Personality-Scatter brained, gives people nickname's, very fun, loud, and carefree. His deck was just made on a whim. He is an expert on dueling and has fun making decks.

Kye: This is the one i needed! I gotta put this in my deck!

 

*Kye puts the WOVLV10 into his deck, on top of his WOVLV7. He smiles at the limited edition card, closes the deck box, and stands triumphantly on the winners podium*[/align]

*Kye is walking down the street, eager to duel ater his tourney win. he stumbles into a crowd of people, and is curious as to what they are grouped around. he walks up to a random bystander.*

 

Kye: Hey, names Kye.

 

Citizen: Kye Marliss?

 

Kye: Yeah, thats me.

 

Citizen: Dude, no way! Names Henry! that win today? Pure awesomeness, can I get your autograph?

 

Kye: Sure?

 

*Henry hands Kye a piece of paper and a marker*

 

Kye: So, you know why everyones all grouped up?

 

Henry: The Crimson Duelist Anthro is over there dueling some chump named Zack.

 

*The words Crimson Duelist catch Kye's attention. Kye quickly scribbles his name on the paper, hands it to Henry, and walks further into the center of the crowd. He makes it in time to watch the ending to the match*

 

Anthro's LP: 8000

Zack's LP: 2000

 

*Zack has a Face Up Attack Position Cloudian Bermuda (ATK - 3400, DEF - 1000)*

 

Anthro: ...So I use Polymerization to create Cyber-end Dragon!

 

*Henry catches up to Kye in the crowd*

 

Henry: Zack's gonna lose, big time.

 

*Kye wont take his eyes off the duel*

 

Anthro: ... Next I play Limiter Removal, so my Cyber-end Dragon is up to 8000 attack! Now, Cyber-end Dragon Attack his Cloudian Bermuda!

 

Anthro's LP: 8000

Zack's LP: 0

 

*The crowd quickly disperses, as Anthro throws his deck into his backpack, which is full of cards.*

 

Henry: They say he changes his deck after every duel, so no one can strategize against him.

 

Kye: Yeah, cool, gotta go!

 

*Kye runs off torwards Anthro, and leaves Henry behind.*

 

Henry: Nice meeting you!

 

*Kye catches up to Anthro, just as he's putting on his backpack*

 

Kye: Hey, Names Kye!

 

Anthro: Anthro..

 

*The two shake hands*

 

Kye: Dude, I saw that duel. that was freakin' insane!

 

Anthro: No, you saw the ending to the duel, and you came up to me to say thats a great duel, and sooner or later, you wouldve segue'd into "If we ever dueled, i bet it would be a really great one." I'm sure it would be a great duel, but the answer is no. I have no deck right now, and you have to earn the right to duel me. Trust me, youll get the duel sooner or later...

 

*Anthro swings his backpack on and starts to walk off*

 

Anthro: ... And I'm looking forward to it...

 

*Kye smiles a bit, knowing that Anthro must've seen him win the tourney. Kye walks off the other way, down the street to the park.[/align]

Aelsthla-Mental, I fixed that messup. good eyes!

 

and riceeman, EVERYBODY cant be a main character. I made the ones that sound like theyd make for the best storylines and duels, and plus, itd be weird having a Kye (pronounced like Eye with a K in front of it) and a Kai (Im guessing its the same).

*Kye is walking in the park, still wanting to duel, when he sees Zack, the guy who was dueling Anthro*

 

Kye: Yo! Zack!

 

Zack: How do you know my name?

 

Kye: Guy in the crowd of your duel today told me.

 

Zack: The duel?

 

Kye: Anthro.

 

Zack: Oh, that duel.

 

Kye: Yeah, THAT one.

 

Zack: Wait, Arent you Kye?

 

Kye: Yup!

 

Zack: You won that tourney today.

 

Kye: Why, Yes I did!

 

Zack: Can I see the card you won. Curious is all.

 

Kye: I guess?

 

*Kye opens his deck box, showing his Warrior of Virmire LV10*

 

Zack: Ill duel you for it.

 

Kye:*Shocked* Huh!?

 

Zack: I Said I'll duel you for it!

 

Kye: Hmmm... What do i get if I win?

 

Zack: My Cloudian Bermuda?

 

*Zack shows him the card*

 

Kye: Deal!

 

Zack: Great! Get ready to lose!

 

Kye: Correction! I think you meant to say "Im getting ready to lose!"

 

Zack: Oh, you made a funny! Get serious, its duel time!

 

*The two shuffle their decks, put them in their duel disk, And draw 5 cards.

 

Kye: I'll go first! I draw, and I play...
