Spoopy Story

Already seen it. It's a good one, but my disbelief rushed in quickly when they couldn't get out of the holes. If you can in, you can always get out. Sure, you might lose some skin, but my mind just can't buy that you wouldn't be able to get back out. It's like the lightbulb-in-the-mouth thing, the lightbulb has a certain diameter and you have to be able to make a gap of at least that diameter between your top and bottom incisors for you to get the lightbulb in. But if you can do that, just open your teeth up that much again. You might need some help as the muscles that open the jaw are not very strong and cannot actually open the jaw to the fullest extent that the jaw can be pulled. Therefore you used the shape of the lightbulb to help guide it into your mouth, and the way to escape with your mouth intact is to realise that anything can be used to prop your mouth open to get the lightbulb out, and that there's nothing special about the shape of it. That said, having a lightbulb (even temporarily) stuck in your mouth is quite unpleasant and it quickly drains your stamina and focus, so I don't recommend it. But there's no need to break the glass or remove teeth if it does happen.

I don't think the story is suppose to be one where you suspend your disbelief, rather one where you are granted an concept for you to ingest and make you writhe in discomfort.

didn't really do anything for me :/ My empathy with the stretched people ended when they couldn't get out when I know I'd be able to.

The thing was they didn't want to get out. Not until their body parts were actually getting crushed to the point where they couldn't move.
