Sleepy
Rainstorm RiderWATER [ Spellcaster / Link / Effect ] ATK 1700 LINK-2 (Bottom-Right), (Left).2 monsters, including a Defense Position Effect Monster. If a Spell/Trap or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can target that card; Link Summon this card by using 2 Defense Position monsters as material, and if you do, negate that card, then gain 1000 LP.When this card is Link Summoned: You can target 1 face-up Spell/Trap on the field; negate its effect, then gain 1000 LP.Once per turn: You can target 1 monster in your GY; Special Summon it to a zone this card points to. Immediately after this effect resolves, Xyz Summon a monster to a zone this card points to. - - - -Notes: -The second effect is "when... you can" so it doesn't stack with the first effect, because the idea of the quick Summon was to be able to negate something on the spot, and didn't work unless I made it part of the same resolving effect. -The reviving effect needs you to be able to Xyz Summon using the revived monster, anything else in-between is illegal plays. It can be reviving Utopia to use it for Lightning, or reviving something like a Level 4 to use it with another Level 4 you already had, or any other Xyz method. -The intention is that it doesn't have arrows that aid Extra Linking, but it opens up a zone no matter if it is in the Extra or Main Monster Zones. There is concept art intended for this but I have been a bit busy xDThoughts/comments/suggestions/corrections/etc. all welcomed please~
Darj
Requiring a monster in an specific position, huh? That's something new. I find amusing how it inherently forces you to use at least 1 non-Link monster xDI don't like the first effect activating from the Extra Deck. Not only is has no precedence IIRC, also it would open an ugly can of worms. In short it's an anti Spell/Trap and Xyz assist monster. I guess that's fine but wish the effects had some association with the name and typing. From "Rainstorm Rider" I would expect a WIND, WATER, Warrior or Dragon monster and while it's indeed WATER, it's a Spellcaster. Still, WIND would make a bit more of sense to me than WATER flavorwise, since WIND is closer to anti Spell/Traps than WATER (e.g. Heavy Storm, Harpies, Tornado Dragon).
