(2) A Synchro Monster that uses this card as a Synchro Material gains 600 ATK.

I feel kind of like we already have a lot of level 3s that special summon, and this doesn't add much to that variety besides fitting into that criterion.

 

Maybe it's a reason to play Commander Yugioh

So combine this with Hyper Psychic Rider and Wheelder to make it become 2600 and destroy a monster and be annoying. Not sure how useful this will be, but I guess they intend these to be generic and not direct Psychic support.

While I'll admit that effect-wise this is rather bland, what matters is IT'S A PSYCHIC!!! this and the Tuner are going straight in my Overdrive Teleporter deck. While it's not as good as the Tuner since summoning non-Tuners is easier than summoning Tuners, you cant really say no to free summons. The ATK gain could also be really useful too, such as bringing Trishula's subpar ATK up to 3300 or even 3900.
