Continuous Spell Card

(1) This card is treated as “Shiranui Style Synthesis” while in a Spell & Trap Zone.

(2) Once per turn, you can activate one of the following.

• You can banish 1 Zombie from your GY; during this turn, the Normal or Special Summon of your Zombie monsters cannot be negated.

• You can target 1 Zombie monster you control; banish that monster, and if you do, you can send 1 Zombie monster with 0 DEF from your Deck to the GY.

Because Shiranui definitely needed more Foolish Burials. Having more cards that are treated as Synthesis is gonna be good for Solitaire. The no-negation effect is nice, but I for one am more into the themed Foolish. It can't mill, say, Mezuki, but being able to grab whatever from the deck and mill it is gonna be nice. And as a little bonus, you get to trigger a banish effect when you use either of those if you banished a Shiranui.

All of us holding our breath for a card as generically usable as Solitaire for Zombies, and those expectations just keep getting stepped on.

 

Ah well. At least this actually makes me want to try pure Shiranuis for a change. Not that I expect it to be anywhere close to Zombie.dek but it could be interesting to play (considering how much this can push the deck's plays forward).
