I Hate Snatch Steal
After I had a discussion with someone earlier today about how bad the 2007 transformers movie was I'm looking for a good transformers cartoon to watch. The only one I've seen is this one: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0231050/ which I enjoyed. For the record I enjoy Saturday morning style cartoon style shows, assuming the writers try hard enough rather then assuming kids will watch anything put in front of them. Just Crouton
The original series (G1), and the 1986 movie. And definitely Beast Wars, which had the strongest cast of characters out of all the shows before and after, and a fun balance of comedy and cartoony ultraviolence. Beast Machines was a bizarre, yet ballsy take on the mythology, so I really recommend it after G1 and Beast Wars because its a direct sequel to Beast Wars. Energon was so dumb, it was fun to laugh at the godawful CGI and dialogue. The rest aren't very impressive. They play it way too safe sticking to "we're like G1, but aren't. Here's a dead Optimus Prime. Remember the 80's."

Simping For Hina
The OG Transformers has no aged well, if that is what you're looking for.The game, War for Cybertron, is dope af as funk. Transformers Cybertron was what I grew up on properly, loved the toys and the show. Not sure how well it aged but I think, because of nostalgia, that it is a good place to look into. The lore of it is pretty cool.
Phantom Roxas
The Unicron Trilogy was probably my favorite continuity, though I seriously doubt it's aged very well, mostly due to the dub and animation both being extremely rushed. Armada is pretty good, though Energon is... very mixed. I'm aware it has a reputation as the single worst show of the franchise, but I feel like that's a bit harsh. Cybertron, though, is a pretty great finale to that trilogy. It can be fairly standalone if you just want to skip to Cybertron, mostly because Studio Gonzo didn't realize that it was supposed to be a continuity of Armada and Energon. And thanks to the Unicron Trilogy, Hot Shot is one of my favorite Transformers. Bumblebee who? Starscream is the actual best, though.
Astro Dude
Start with G1, then go for Cybertron which has best animation, then War for and Fall of Cybertron, then 2018 Robots in Disguise.
