Must be Link Summoned. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 monster on the field; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it in Attack Position. While equipped by this effect, that target gains 1000 ATK. If that target attacks a Defence Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage.

So Krunch Knuckle is the Link Counterpart to Armour Arm where it plays similar to Armour Arm but instead of dealing damage equal to the destroyed monsters ATK it deals piercing damage.

 

In Archetypal decks that use only 1 type of monster this can be a effective boosting card that gives a down monster so you can summon a monster from your Extra Deck, boost it with this and get another open space to summon a monster from your Extra Deck.
