During your Main Phase while this card is in your GY: you can banish 1 other Zombie monster from your GY; Special Summon this card from your GY and its Level becomes equal to the Level of the banished monsters. During the turn you activated this effect, you cannot Special Summon monsters from your Extra Deck except Zombie monsters. You can only activate this effect of "Des Spore" once per turn.

So Des Spore acts as a zombie counterpart to the regular Spore where this instead of increase its level when revived has its Level become the same as a zombie monster you banished. In addition to this it also prevents you from summoning cards from your Extra Deck except Zombie Monsters and has a hard OPT clause on it to balance it but through this also acts as a improvement on the original spore as its not limited to once per duel.

 

In Zombie Decks this will be great for both Link, Xyz and Synchro plays with its ability to summon itself back and modify its Level.
