DARK/Plant-Type Synchro Tuner Effect Monster/Level 4/1800 ATK/1200 DEF

 

Lore: 1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters

You can send 1 "Rose" monster from your Deck to the GY: Special Summon 1 Plant monster from your hand or GY in Defense Position that is up to 3 Levels higher than that sent monster, but it loses 1 Level. (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card and destroy 1 other monster you control; Special Summon 1 Plant or Dragon Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck with 2400 or less ATK. (This is treated as a Synchro Summon.) You can only use each effect of "Vassal of the Black Rose" once per turn.

This card is great, IMO. I can imagine things it can do during the opponent's turn, such as summoning either of the Rose Dragons, Red Wyvern, or Queen of Thorns for that "Trickstar meets Maxx C" feeling, because of Needlefiber, or even in Yang Zings or with Formula Synchron. The only issue I see is that it destroys a monster as cost, which has no precedence, but that can be easily addresed by making it part of the effect instead, which would further let it combo more nicely with the aforementioned Zings as long as you make sure it doesn't make them miss timing.
