Phelphor, of the Deep
a lot of drawbacks just to get a level 2 out on the field. I would recommend that you putting a min (1) card in the hand clause in the effect. At the start of your Standby Phase: if you have no monsters in your hand (Min 1.); reveal your hand to your opponent and Special Summon this card from your Deck to your side of the field in face-up attack position. If this card is Summoned: you can't Normal Summon for the rest of this turn. You can only Summon 1 "Cursed Eye" per turn.

I made it have those restrictions just because I do not wish to accidentally create MORE Link spam, I like blue quite a lot but in moderation. Dokutah
Quite powerful jumpstarter card. Well probably fit more on Spell/Trap Mash deck like Skystriker or Paleozoic (especially the latter)
Guest BGMCANN0N
An extremely rare Deck activation effect I see.. The few cards that have these kind of effects have been alone for awhile (e.g. Theinen the Great Sphinx, and Serpentine Princess) so this is kind of refreshing to see. Though because of how many limitations (which is kind of expected considering it is +1 directly from the Deck) there are I am not entirely sure what other Decks you could put this guy in other than what DJGIII already mentioned. Uria.dek I guess (Continuous Trap Monster Mash), off the wall I know, but is there really that much else? XD Anyhow, the parenthetical clause of "min. 1" is kind of confusing as I am not sure what is trying to convey in its current context; you either have no monsters in your hand or you do. And if it has something to do with you not having cards in your hand, you wouldn't be able to activate it anyhow because you have nothing to reveal. If you mean something a long the lines like this: "...if you have 1 or less monsters in your hand" It would make a little more sense. Otherwise, just do this: Omit the "(min. 1)" , and leave the wording as you probably already had it. "...if you have no monsters in your hand" Another thing I notice is that you don't need the HOPT because it has to be the "Start" of the Standby Phase in order to Summon 1 copy with its own effect, therefore you couldn't Summon another one because it wouldn't be the beginning of the Standby Phase anymore. Here is general wording/grammar overhaul for you (being my 2nd suggestion on the min. 1 topic): "At the start of your Standby Phase, if you have no monsters in your hand: You can reveal your hand; Special Summon this card from your Deck in face-up Attack Position. If this card is Summoned: You can't Normal Summon for the rest of this turn."
cp49100
You of all people know just how much I like Uria.dek xD (Tough I was thinking of Sky Strikers when I made this). And oof, thanks, my rust must really show huh? Sometimes my brain just reverses to pre-2008 PST.
Darj
Indeed, Sky Strikers can take advantage of this, although they would have to forsake some hand traps to make it more live.I have mixed feelings towards the concept. On one hand, I'm not a fan of this free +1 Summon-from-deck approach since it fells like a step further into the powercreep; on the other hand, it is not for every deck, and even for monster-low decks like the aforementioned Sky Strikers, it discourages running hand traps, although there are still decent-to-good disruptive Spell/Traps to run, namely Called by the Grave and Infinite Transience.
