Bringerofcake
Abyss Script - Shadow SpiritNormal SpellTarget 1 "Abyss Actor" monster you control; if it battles a monster this turn, that monster's ATK and DEF become equal to its current ATK or DEF (whichever is lower) until the end of this turn. If this Set card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect and sent to the GY: banish your opponent's hand face-down. I decided to do another anime retrain like I did with Ojamarking a while ago, but rather than directly support the deck's new playstyle (like I did with marking), I felt it more appropriate for a low-power card like Abyss Scripts to stick more faithfully to the anime effect, which in this instance was swapping ATK. Abyss Actors definitely have a fun thing going with battle, especially with Funky Comedian, Evil Heel, Twinkle Littlestar, Lair of the Fire Dragon and probably other cards too, so I felt like Shadow Spirit is themed appropriately. The Set card effects traditionally go super ham, and so to play up the "Shadow Spirit" idea, hitting your opponent where it hurts (the hand) seemed fitting. It's not that great, but I don't think I want to make the "100% fix Abyss Actors forever" card in an "anime import". That's for an entirely new card, so if you follow my occasional card making exploits, keep an eye out for that.
