Jumping in on this train cause music is awesome.

 

I'll be rating stuff out of 5 instead of 10 cause I'm lazy:

 

5 - I love it. Recc me more stuff like this. (Outstanding)

4.5 - Leaning above appealing but below outstanding.

4 - Not the best, but I like it. (Appealing)

3.5 - Leaning above average but below appealing.

3 - Not a fan of it, but it's not bad. (Average)

2.5 - Leaning below average but above mediocre.

2 - Definitely not a fan, though it's not terrible. (Mediocre)

1.5 - Leaning below mediocre but above terrible.

1 - This is bad and you should feel bad. (Terrible)

 

Rules:

3. Only 1 song per person. You can only post another song after your previous one has been rated.

4. Don't post playlists. This applies to the 3rd rule.

5. Videos are encouraged. No links if possible.

Dude, you made this? This is pretty killer, yo.

 

I'm giving it a 3/5. I give you mad props for it being something you made, though I feel like it could be mixed better. The vocals overpower the music and some parts feel a bit out of sync. Plus I'm not that big of a fan of remixes, though I won't discredit your hard work for this. Good sheet, bruh.

 

 

4/5. Very infectious voice, excellent piano skills, and the lyrics paint such a vivid picture in my mind, it's like she's giving me a tour of uptown while expecting a miracle to happen. Very nice. Only reason I don't give it a 5 is cause this kind of music doesn't necessarily appeal to me on my own time, but I definitely acknowledge the talent here.

 

 

3/5, background music is nice and all, but all I can say is that it provides good ambiance. Without the visuals that it accompanies, there's not much to absorb besides a sense of atmosphere. Instrumentation is pretty dope, but that's about it. Also not really a fan of the two-step tones that chime in every other beat. I'd be fine with just the dark and ominous legato.

 

 

2.5/5, I hate that whooping, backwards-ass effect that's been a thing in electronic music these days. Doesn't make it interesting at all, just makes me cringe. I'll add an extra half a score cause the composition itself is pretty nice, though overall even without the annoying effect, I'm not really feeling it.

I would really suggest you watch the show however. It truly is a work of art

Also, how dare you have a better scoring system than me. Now I wish I thought of doing x/5 instead of x/10 but it'll look like I'm stealing your thunder if I do it now so I can't :|

4/5, VGM is my jam, though this instrument group ain't my favorite. Nice energetic and upbeat tune, though. Head-bobbing for sure.

Yui didn't want to listen to this one cuz they thought it was too long. It's got a big emotional impact to me from the times it played in Destiny 2's story, but even if you haven't played the game this is still a beautiful song. I enjoy the escalation as you "journey" through the song.

The show's always had an interesting concept when I first heard about it. I'll have to check it out.

 

I don't want to just repeat my posts from Yui's thread though that means not sharing some of my favorite songs, but at least I have plenty more.

 

 

Yui didn't want to listen to this one cuz they thought it was too long. It's got a big emotional impact to me from the times it played in Destiny 2's story, but even if you haven't played the game this is still a beautiful song. I enjoy the escalation as you "journey" through the song.

 

4.5/5, there's something so mesmerizing about a string ensemble, and that's just the beginning. Once it grows in power, it really grips you. Amazing track.

4/5, this kicks ass. Female vocalists in heavy metal are so goddamn sexy and badass. The distortion-y bits kinda throw it for me, though, ngl

 

And now for something completely different. I've posted abunch of BRADIO in Yui's thread already so let's share some grooviness over here, too.

3/5, groovy stuff, definitely different from most other Japanese groups I've heard, but not really my thing.

 

 

I quoted two videos, so I'll rate the first one cause that's, you know, the rule and all.

 

3/5, GoT had a killer soundtrack and this one was pretty cool, though again it's just background music, so not sure what else to tell you m8

 

EDIT: Bruh, why are you editing in more videos when the rules say only one submission per review? Delete all of those except the first one, then post them in succession one at a time. That'll make it much easier for me.
