I'm not advocating for its return, but in this new age of Links, MR4 and whatnot, could it come back, at the very least at 1? I remember its major problem was Summoning it repeatedly in a turn to use its effect multiple times, but under MR4 that wouldn't be nearly as practical to accomplish, even less if it was Limited.

a card like shooting riser dragon is good despite being arguably more difficult to summon + having restrictions, and this has nothing of the sort

 

even beatrice is funking dumb, because milling is generally stronger than straight-up searching, and this is just a more accessible version

 

Just 1 copy is enough to get that combo piece in the graveyard.

I think it could come back without it filling up all top 8s but I wouldn't want it to.

 

It's a degenerate FTK/OTK card in practice. Besides, we already have Beatrice and Foolish at 1. So if you really want to dump cards from your deck you can.

Riser has a bunch of short cuts you can use to drop it. Not disagreeing, but js it's not the best comparison
