SecondSeraphim
Just some silly support I made for old field Spells. Might make for some fun theme plays. Encroaching Land Continuous SpellWhile you control a Field Spell whose only effect either:increases and/or decreases the ATK and DEF of monsters with specific types by 200, orincreases ATK of monsters of specific Attributes by 500 while decreasing their DEF by 400;negate the effects of the opponent’s face-up Field and Continuous Spells, other than “Encroaching Land”, also all monsters you control that gain ATK by the effect of your Field Spell gain 500 ATK. Land Claim Normal TrapYou can only activate “Land Claim” once per turn. While you control a Field Spell whose only effect either:increases and/or decreases the ATK and DEF of monsters with specific types by 200, orincreases ATK of monsters of specific Attributes by 500 while decreasing their DEF by 400;select and activate one of the following effects:add, from your Deck or GY to your hand, one monster that can be Normal Summoned/Set and that would gain ATK from the effect of your Field Spell.Special Summon, from your hand, one monster that can be Normal Summoned/Set and that would gain ATK from the effect of your Field Spell. Land Rush Counter TrapWhen a monster(s) would be Summoned, declares an attack, or activates an effect on the field, while you control a Field Spell whose only effect either:increases and/or decreases the ATK and DEF of monsters with specific types by 200, orincreases ATK of monsters of specific Attributes by 500 while decreasing their DEF by 400;negate the Summon, attack, or effect, and destroy that monster. Land Prospector EARTH/Warrior/Effect/Level 4 1000 / 1000You can discard this card: Add a “Encroaching Land”, “Land Claim”, or “Land Rush” from your Deck to your hand. If a card is added form your Deck to your hand while this card is in the GY you can banish this card; add a Field Spell from your Deck to your hand. If you activate both of the above effects in the same turn, you cannot Normal Summon during that turn.
Dova
A little weak, I'd say. I mean, Land Claim has a wide range of monsters it can grab and SS, but it is a Trap. I guess that's for the best, but if you're running one of these terrible Field Spells, you'd think it could do a little more. Maybe a GY effect on it? Jurassic World is the most viable option imo, with them having a dedicated searcher and with Dinosaurs being pretty decent these days. Encroaching could also do some more, but probably as one effect; at the very least, negate Continuous Trap Cards as well, but if I'm running a simple ATK/DEF booster, perhaps something else as well? Land Rush is more boring than anything else, but it gets the job done. The strongest card in the set, especially with Land Prospector being able to search it AND prospector itself being searchable by Rota. I like what you did with Prospector's potential combo, but perhaps hard once per turn on them both anyway. That way, you can still use the double effect if you want to, but if you open 3 of then you don't go +3 and end up with an 8 card hand.
SecondSeraphim
I didn't even think of Jurassic World, though it wouldn't count for how the cards are written now due to it granting a 300 ATK boost. A HOPT on Prospector makes since, and I think that Claim can be made a Normal Spell. I'll think on the Continuous Trap as well bit. Thank you for the review. PS: Oh, what about if I added a clause to Claim that lets you use both effects if you control Encroaching? Like: If you control "Encroaching Land" at activation, you can activate both effects and resolve in sequence. Though I supposed you'd have to reverse the order of effs on the card to be able SS the monster you add.
