It’s a good looking car, but it was a total flop, and the movie came three years too late. So in a way, it was a product placement that was three years too late to save the Delorean company thanks to massive debt, both the British and American governments denying Delorean more money, and drug trafficking charges against John Delorean(he was acquitted).
