Ojamarmed Dragon

lv 7 LIGHT

Dragon/Effect

(This card is always treated as a "Armed Dragon" Card.)

Must be Special Summoned by banishing 3 "Ojama" Monsters from your GY. Once per turn: you can send 1 "Ojama" Card from your hand to the GY; destroy all Monsters your opponent controls. If this card attacks a Defence Position Monster, inflict piercing battle damage.

ATK/1000 DEF/2800

So Ojamarmed Dragon is a in themed Armed Dragon for Ojama's where Ojamatch can search this, this card can set Ojamatch up by banishing 3 Ojama's in the grave to be summoned where Ojamatch can then shuffle those 3 banished Monsters into the deck to draw a card.

Next this card can discard Ojama Cards from your hand like Ojamagic to the grave to destroy all of your opponents monsters and has the added bonus of being able to inflict piercing damage.

Lastly this cards ATK and DEF is reversed from Level 7 due to it synergizing with Ojama Country.

In Ojama this card would be a nice main deck boss that can work off Ojama's and their play style with a number of their cards.

Not sure how to properly give my opinion on this (in terms of support) I am not very familiar with the messy support ojama's have now. As for the card itself, the Armed dragon condition isnt needed at all, its name is Ojam"armed Dragon", capital letters do not matter for a card to be in an archetype. I am also curious why make a nomi?

The archetype clause is likely to address the limitations in the Japanese naming as that's normally where cards get their membership from.

If transliterated directly, would read "おジャマームド" (which includes the "Ojama" part, but not "Armed Dragon" [マー instead of アー) as opposed to "おジャマアームド", which would combine the two archetype names, but render as Ojama-Armed). Or Zero could just call the card "Ojama Armed Dragon" and we'd avoid the messiness in both English/Japan and remove the archetypal clause. Other languages are an issue though, but let's not go into that.

(Go blame the language differences for the reasons such clauses need to be added, or well, name choices.)

As far as the card goes, I suppose it's a Nomi for flavor reasons like Dark Armed or the original Level 7 which he made this from as an inverted copy [and probably to avoid potential revival abuse]. I don't know if Ojama players even do this in 2018, but there is Ojamagic that searches the original 3 after this blows up the opponent's board. I suppose you could go into King or something, then banish the original 3 to make this and then nuke, but how practical is this in the long run? Pajama technically can summon any banished Knight and Kings you have (least ones you banished to summon this) or Match / Assimilation can return them for draw power, but that's about it.

Honestly, I'm not even sure what Ojamas do anymore either in light of Konami being silly with the Armed Dragon/VWXYZ support for legacy. I suppose it does help with clearing boards without needing to go outside the Deck, but that's about it.
