You can Special Summon this card from your hand to a zone a Warrior Link Monster you control points to. You can only Special Summon "Xtra HERO Mix Driver" this way once per turn. During your Main Phase: you can return 1 Link Monster in your Extra Monster Zone into your Extra Deck, then, Special Summon 1 "Xtra HERO" Link Monster with the same Link Rating as the Monster that was shuffled into your Extra Deck to your Extra Monster Zone (this Special Summon is treated as a Link Summon.) When this card is used as Link Material to summon a "Xtra HERO" Link Monster, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower HERO Monster from your GY to your side of the field. You can only activate each effect of "Xtra HERO Mix Driver" once per turn.

So Xtra HERO Mix Driver is Level 5 HERO Monster that gives HERO's support with Link Summoning and work around making bigger Link Monsters. First off it can summon itself to a Zone a Warrior Link Monster points to and then can switch it out for a Xtra HERO Link Monster of the same Link rating, then, when its used as Link Materia for a Xtra HERO Link Monster it can summon a Level 4 or lower HERO from your grave.

 

Ideally this can work with Isolde and Wonder Driver where you can use this to trade Isolde out for Wonder Driver so you can go into the Link 3 Xtra HERO Monster (which were all still waiting for details on in the legendary HERO Decks) and can give you Monsters like Shadow Mist, Vyon or Blazeman from the grave to trigger their effects for further set up.
