BatMed
I made the art <3Curious, Twilightsworn TyrantLevel 8 | 2400 / 2000DARK | Warrior / Effect You can Special Summon this card (from your hand or GY) by shuffling 2 “Lightsworn” cards from your hand and/or GY into the Deck. Once per turn, if your other "Lightsworn" monster's effect is activated: Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY. You can only use each of these effects of "Curious, Twilightsworn Tyrant" once per turn.● If this card is Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Lightsworn" card from your Deck to your GY.● (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 "Lightsworn" monster from your hand or GY, then shuffle 2 of your banished "Lightsworn" cards into the Deck; banish 1 face-up card your opponent controls. Do I need to explain myself? besides the fact that I turned a Link to an Effect monster, I mean just think about it, making another Link for LS is lame, og Curious is already good, now that we have Diana I doubt we'll need Giant Rex/Gigantes to summon him.So anyways, I tried to fix LS in one card (or at least that's what I had in mind):Hand-brick prob: You shuffle Wulf/Felis (and smtg else) to SS this card THEN bump wolf/felis.Resources: It shuffles your banished cards back to your deck (Shirayuki, Diana, Twilightsworns?)Power removal: Yes I said it, JD is GOOD, but not good enough nowadays. LSs need smtg to disturb the opponent's plays and protect themselves from potential threats, in form of a Quick-Play non-targeting banishing effect.I'm aware that this card might not be enough to bring LS to the edge of glory, but I think it's enough to make them at least competitive? Dova
Forgot how good your art was weow Card is also good weow I mean, late-game this card is an easy Summon from the hand, with that sweet...if convoluted removal. I like how all the effect do work into each other to form a nice chain of combo, and yet each works individually as good support. There's not really much to say here, other than ...perhaps it's too good? You have 4 effects here, with the Summoning clause not having any form of OPT at all. To be honest, I would suggest ditching one of the last two effects, or somehow merging them; they're both useful, but the card does a lot at the moment. The effects that actually matter have a hard OPT clause, so it'll just be another fodder for ED summons, which is inherently good and needed in LS atm, imo. But I agree with you, the card has 3 effects (+the SSummoning clause), but they work with each other and I can't cut one out and let the other ;-;
Black D'Sceptyr
Were it not for what this card was a mirror of, I'd almost call this 'too many effects on one card'. AS IT IS, the artwork is amazeballs, Imma need to crib it in about a month or so when I stop bein' lazy and preview my next 2 booster packs (A.K.A. next Monday) and yeah, the final bullet-point effect seems to be a bit too self-supplying to be a real cost. Perhaps something like returning 3 banished "Lightsworn" cards, or banishing a specific card (maybe Judgment/Punishment Dragon, to make use of dead ones in the GY?) Other than that, this seems....okay and cool and good for the Twilightsworn. Man, if they had a usable Solar RECHARGE switchup tho....
