Phelphor, of the Deep
An archetype focused around shuffling the opponent's deck while benefiting off of it. This also discourages the opponent wanting to search the deck.A common effect most if not all will share within the archetype: If your opponent would shuffle their Deck or if this card is Summoned: You can do blah. If your opponent would shuffle their Deck while all face-up monsters you control are "Unshackled" monsters (min. 1) except the turn this card was Summoned: you can do blah. You can only activate each effect of "Unshackled blah" once per turn. Dokutah
Forgotten: nice field. Search on activation & +0 each turn. Not really agree with 500 boost though since most of the monster stat is not shabby enough for such huge boost Omen: i assume this summon from anywhere but Deck. Which is crazy given it was cost-less and has ability to reoccur it self. I think you need extra cost or penalty like summon in Defense or whatever Return: self-recycling recycle. gladly it didn't return the best spell. not much but its fine i guess Chant: Double search seems too much dont you think? Banish effect is random but there no denying that it was strong Soo the monsters trigger wherever deck is shuffled by any means. which can be from adding cards to deck OR taking or Special Summoning something from it. former rarely triggered now days but the latter is quite popular. neat idea for sure Ob: im starting to think this archetype consistency could be overboard by having too many search card (including that double search) even if opponent reliant since the "opponent reliant" part happen to be a way common action that could occur this game. HOPT do kept it in check i guess.... that non-target send is also quite powerful Oskar: standart S/T removal. kinda fine Oz: kinda weak. but not necessary need fixing. but yes this benefit your opponent more than you should with grave effects Omi: highly disagree with this given how counteractive Face-down Banish is Omar: forcing shuffling (with another Face down banish as penalty), Link Mat generator, and anti-GY. this started too dull me. way oppresive IMO O'neil: surprisingly weaker than Omar. since the brainwash effect is actually not fast enough for any other merit (kinda thank god for that). Phelphor, of the Deep
[spoiler=My Response] Soo the monsters trigger wherever deck is shuffled by any means. which can be from adding cards to deck OR taking or Special Summoning something from it. former rarely triggered now days but the latter is quite popular. neat idea for sure Only when opponent shuffles their deck. Forgotten: nice field. Search on activation & +0 each turn. Not really agree with 500 boost though since most of the monster stat is not shabby enough for such huge boost Ok so I will edit the stat boost Omen: i assume this summon from anywhere but Deck. Which is crazy given it was cost-less and has ability to reoccur it self. I think you need extra cost or penalty like summon in Defense or whatever I goof when writing the effect. edit according. Return: self-recycling recycle. gladly it didn't return the best spell. not much but its fine i guess Thanks Chant: Double search seems too much dont you think? Banish effect is random but there no denying that it was strong. Its lots of consistency. may add a restriction. HOPT do kept it in check i guess.... that non-target send is also quite powerful Adding new card to make the "opponent reliant" thing less worrisome. Oskar: standart S/T removal. kinda fine Yeah and there is a monster removal too. Oz: kinda weak. but not necessary need fixing. but yes this benefit your opponent more than you should with grave effects. Fix to instead of send to shuffle. and added burn effect. Omi: highly disagree with this given how counteractive Face-down Banish is Face-up banishment, ok? Omar: forcing shuffling (with another Face down banish as penalty), Link Mat generator, and anti-GY. this started too dull me. way oppresive IMO lower to 3. O'neil: surprisingly weaker than Omar. since the brainwash effect is actually not fast enough for any other merit (kinda thank god for that).maybe 2 or more?
