Marco Polo
I was doing a corrupted version of Mermail Abysslinde, this one exhausted me. 6 or so hours, about 30 layers, restarts. etc. I'm so glad I'm done now and can collapse on my bed and go to sleep, for the love of god. [spoiler=Onigami Lindechidna] Onigami - Demon GodLindechidna = Abysslinde + Echidna (greek mythology's mother of monsters, often depicted with a tail just like this one) Thoughts? Dova
Looks really nice, especially love what you've done with the armor and how you've done the hair. Only a few real minor complaints; the foreshortening on the tail (doesn't seem to be going behind her, more to her side, dunno if it was intentional but it looks weird) and on her right arm (longer than left arm, yet her right hand is smaller, so unsure what angle its placed at), and eyes just looking...well, empty. I get that was the intention, but with the nice use of shadows and dynamic coloring everywhere else, they look more flat than anything else. But yeah, looks great otherwise. But yeah, looks great otherwise. The tail first goes to her left and then curls behind. Pretty much the way its shaded. The light source pretty much stops before the 2nd tail-shield if you look closely. Up until the first tail-shield the tail is only a little behind her, and from that point it points mostly to the back The closer arm is shorter because it points more to the camera, and the farther arm is generally smaller because it's away from the camera, and does not point to it so you can see the whole length of the arm. It's kinda like the original slifer artwork, I for the love of god couldn't figure out the position he's in but upon closer inspection I can see it's just a combination of factors that make it ambiguous at first sight. I closely inspected the artwork after what you said here and mostly everything seems correct to me considering how she poses. I'll tweak it a little nevertheless. Tweaked now.EDIT: Tweaked again
